"Ads support a diverse ecosystem of creators globally and allow billions to access their favorite content on YouTube"

Thats a lie. Ads only fill google pockets.

I sense Google is in for a ginormous double whammy in Europe. Deliberately breaking automatic updates on two billion devices and then use "7 years of FREE updates if you buy our phone!" as an ecosystem exploitation. And now this on the de-facto video sharing platform, forcing an absurd 12 euro subscription to skip content breaking ad spam. Content Google haven't even created themselves.

Google is going to be destroyed by EU legislators.

A few days ago I got blocked on Brave. Then I disabled the ad block, and for like a day or 2 I was still unable to watch anything. Now I can use it, but there is no Skip option, so I need to watch even a 2 and a half minutes commercial. This is really annoying!

There will always be a way to watch videos without ads. Hakers will make sure of that

Dometalican, 31 Oct 2023See, I wouldn't be that bothered with the ads if they ... moreHm

Like all big companies they fail to understand how annoying so many ads are. One or two is ok, i think most people would accept that but 2 ads every 5 bloody minutes is too much.

See, I wouldn't be that bothered with the ads if they weren't so FREQUENT and LONG with no ability to skip them. If it was one 15-aecond as and then a skippable long one every 45 minutes, I would disable every ad blocker. The ads have gotten so annoying

                      YouTube Revanced works finde

"Ads support a diverse ecosystem of creators globally and allow billions to access their favorite content on YouTube."

Not every video with ads supports content creators, I heard that some content creators said that their demonetized videos can still get ads because YouTube puts it in, and yet, content creators can't get any money off of it because it's demonetized.

What a load of crap, if YouTube want oreroll.ada for creators then YouTube also needs to crack down on creators inserting there own ada into the video creation, the YouTube creators can't have it both ways.

Also there are ways around the YouTube block in ad blockers, screen Google for being greedy morons, the hackers will.alwqys find a way around so until YouTube crek down in creators who put there own ads in. I say sxrew both the creators and YouTube.

JohnSalamii, 31 Oct 2023firefox + ublock origin thank me laterNot really, Ublock was untouched for a long time, but more often I see YT getting triggered because of it.

I changed filters multiple times but YT finds a solution within days against it.

I will drop YT if this goes on, €12.99 is another unneeded subscription, especially if you don't want YT music but there is no Premium Lite in my country.

No matter what YouTube does, theres gonna be workarounds.

I got this message constantly on Adblock plus and Adblock, installed a different adblocker and it now works without any notice.
