The Xiaomi 14 Pro will be my next phone.
The amount of innovation and refinement Xiaomi put on this phone is incredible, and they actually have a competent base model with 12/256 UFS 4.0.

Got the xiaomi 14 yesterday, really surprised that it cane with only a few preinstalled apps which can all be deleted, not like on my previous Samsung. Camera is great. Con: even English language is selected there are a few Chinese characters still in some deeper setting menu. So far the right choice to buy it. BTW ram can be upgraded by 8gb, means 16+8

          No.
          Ansewring the question in title.

sleek design, good specs, hopefully so is the UI and if available state side, possibly

Gusta, 06 Nov 2023How about Meizu?I don't know about Meizu. Meizu basically aren't sold offline anywhere near where I live so I've never really considered trying this brand or haven't really followed it much.

Anonymous, 06 Nov 2023The flagships don'tThey do. Don't know why you are trying to spread blatant lies. 1. I always try out their flagship phones
                  2. There are plenty of Chinese language videos showing this 3. On the Xiaomi community app (on Chinese variant phones) and on consumer review sites the largest onnline retailer you can find many reviews from real purchasers stating it.

Do they look promising on paper? Sure. But I would never purchase an expensive smartphone without first having read all available reviews and tests and without having it hold in my own hands to get an impression hiw it feels and handles in real life.
                    So, let's the reviews come!

Ik, 06 Nov 2023What about price in Europe? If 520 €, it is ok. If more, no!Ooo it will be much more!! I guess at least 750 euro...maybe even 800.

Not at all. I am so desperate to find an alternative choice to Xiaomi that I am almost giving up. I have a Xiaomi 12 Pro and the videos are horrible. Also, Xiaomi presents their new series in November/December only in China, then they wait March to launch it globally, then the Ultra comes after two more months, roughly in June (hopefully globally) and, finally, the T series just before the launch of the new series. Xiaomi are a teaser and I am fed up of them.

The Xiaomi 12 series, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 14 series all have lots of ads built into the system in China. However so do OPPO vivo and Huawei. Only Nubia, ZTE and Motorola have no system ads in China. These are the Chinese variants so for sure they have ads. You can find videos on Chinese social media which demonstrate this
