YouTube Premium price increases in select markets

Users in at least seven countries are now receiving an email about the increase.

Sort by:

Time to start using the likes of Rumble, Odysee, Bitchute, etc where possible. And of course keep using any adblocking solutions that still work.

Google/YouTube can get ducked if they think I'm paying to watch Mr Beast or whatever 🤣🤣

    im not paying $hit , there will be always be a way to block ads

      we thankfully YouTube ReVanced still exist for long!

        Time to contact FTC and report the biggest Fraud in the History of the Websites
        This is beyond greediness and beyond stupidity
        This Sue goes to FTC and will be immediately take action

            Looks like they're raising prices in countries with higher inflation (especially Turkey and Argentina). Still, YouTube Premium costs money and Revanced is free.

                    For me only reason to not buy premium is to support youtubers.
                    I dont want get them money.

                      YT pricing people out and still blocking Ad-Blockers, investigate them EU!

                        I'd say they're digging their own grave, but it is a difficult market to have proper competition... This is what happens on monopolies.

                          Correct me if I'm wrong, but... if they're cracking down on ad blockers, wouldn't the smarter thing to do actually be DECREASING Premium prices for new users?

                          Because with this strategy people are probably going to be even more reluctant to get Premium, because it's more expensive than before...
