Nokia's first 8MP phone was adorned with a beautiful AMOLED display and it had free navigation. The one thing it didn't have was a touchscreen.

        So nothing in your data showed otherwise, even that loss of 400M was for 2nd Quarter in 3rd quarter they reported profit 600M.

          That was one of the reason why I used it for 4 years and never switched for example to n95 as it would be downgrade in key spec for me. Having more RAM and AF camera, I would be using it even longer I guess. I loved it.

                    All my symbian phones would crashed randomly, i had many all the good ones upto the pureview, felt greatly advanced for the time though.

                      No any OS can beat Android. Even iOS is joke. Don't tell me joke like you are poor or you never tried it. Both are lies.

                        Ahh the mythical Nokia N87… sad that Nokia did not proceed on to release this phone, as it would possibly be the best non-touch Symbian phone ever judging by the rumoured specs.. it also seems to use a different version of Symbian OS, as it supports a higher resolution screen (640x480, compared to all S60v3 phones’ resolution of 320x240). There’s a prototype somewhere in the wild though

                                  I loved symbian I had a few old Nokia's I loved the E72 after Nokia stopped I moved onto Blackberry because I loved the formfactor, to be honest I would still use that formfactor today if I could, I am aware a company called Unihertz makes one but its not the same it's not compact at all.

                                      So they had no issue selling Symbian phones in 2010, Symbian was still at top, it was after Burning Memo and lack of new devices then symbian lost it's lead vs Android and other os.
