        Dang, Xiaomi, Redmi & Poco are milking the crap out of that Helio G series 'til the end of time. The same can be said about those 2MP sensor. I get it, it's an affordable device, but come on. Maybe it's time to let that 3+ year old chipset go.

You can buy an old flagship instead of this and be better off with it and no, updates won't be a big deal, neither the old flagship, nor this will get too many.

                        Guys, the phone is like 110 bucks...very impressive package for what it costs. This is a phone for basic use, sms, calls, some occasional social network etc
                        It offers a lot for around that price 6gb ram, 90hz lcd screen, 5000 batt with 18w fast charging (while apple costs 10X more and offers almost the same), usb-c, 3.5mm jack etc

                              Mills, 05 Nov 2023You can't really complain for this price. It's 10... moreWhile it might be good enough for some, the Unisoc T606, T612 and T616 are all cheap chipsets with UFS 2.X storage support, so there is no excuse for Helio G8X chipsets and eMMC 5.1 storage.

                              On a side note, I don't understand why there isn't any more use of the also cheap Unisoc T820, which is quite an interesting chipset with 5G support, UFS 3.1 storage support, 4k 60fps recording and a maximum display resolution of 3440 x 1440.

                                        Nice and good cheap phone for people who needs nice and cheap phone, for kids as their first phone or for elderly people who just needs calls and text and some basic apps like messenger, whatsapp, viber, telegram etc.
