I bought the nexus from US... cost me 21K INR(16GB)....
I say go for it...
not the best of the cameras (in low light) but will get the job done...
top notch software...
DONT go for htc ONE X which has the same price range as this one...
Samsung might drop the price for S3 after this. U can go for it. it has gr8 camera and touch.
but 1GB of ram in S3 might hurt your experience...
No lags on my Nexus 4 whatso-ever. The back of the phone gets heated up quickly on heavy use...
IN all i say go for nexus 4 or S3 if u are willing to pay 2K more... DONT go 4 HTC ONE X.

diaMOHDsid, 16 May 2013I don't see why lg released this phone this much late and f... moreha ha 80% of ur family or smartphone users ... dont know abt nexus ? 100% smartphone users in india knows nexus4 and there is no other phone to beat it in india.
adreno 320 powers graphics for snapdragon 600 and snapdragon s4 pro .. so unless anybody release snapdragon 800 phone, nexus4 will remain in top phones with htc one and s4 both in latest software and hardware.

People commenting about the high price.. note that the 16 GB variant in the US costs $350 + taxes + shipping.. comes close to around 22,000 INR. And if you check the prices in UK/ EU its even higher. Since its box MRP is 26000, its bound to sold at a discounted price in stores.. probably close to 24000.. which IMHO is a great price for this great phone! Super excited! :)

Anonymous, 16 May 2013So they get parts (that I guess shipped themselves for free... moreare you daft or something ?
they make 60% of the phones themselves, samsung...got that ?
so 60% of parts that the samsung makes is already sold to another samsung factory , for a profit already.
then this factory assembles everything for the whole cost of 235 dollars, and then sells it to carriers/google/etc with another profit on top.
by the time you need to put shipping in the cost, that's covered by the customer, it only costs a few dollars to ship a phone, even less in bulk.
the taxes are payd by customers via the VAT.
so what exactly are samsung and lg and htc and sony chargins an extra 300-500 dollars for a phone ? it only costs 235 to make it, 3 dollars to ship it, then the vat is payd by the customer.
So 235$(has chip foundry profita ready)
+100(samsung mobile profit selling to shops/google/cariers)
+3(shipping)=350
*20%VAT (payd by customer in Europe = 410 dollars
...how do they get to to 700-800 dollars in europe ?
The extra 300-400 is extra greedy profit, along with the 100 from samsung mobile division thats 400-500 dollars profit !!! per phone X millions of phones = billions X tens of models = tens of billions in pure profit.

we have this phone since Jan 2013 and we love it. No matter what phone you buy in todays date, it will be outdate in few months. This phone is still very advance compare to many other high end phones avialable in the marker.
If you know someone in USA you can get this phone for 17,000 Rs ($325).

A good but Late move by LG. When the craze was high(in november ) google ignored india. Now after 6 months Lg decided to launch it.
Yes, it is a great ph with latest updates, but most of the smatphone users are not aware about raw android experience. Only latest and in deamand products get to see good sales.
Hope google will learn and next nexus will b launched with in a month or 2.
Thanxs

I don't see why lg released this phone this much late and for 25000 rupees!!!
Doesn't makes sense
Indians choose affordable and famous phone 80% of people here don't even know what is nexus 4!!! To them only famous and affordable phone os Samsung galaxy grand and s 3 which cost 20000 & 30000...
And talking about stock Android they dont even know what are special feature of jelly bean or they don't even know its name... They just use android for gaming, social.. And bunch of other simple tasks.... Seriously nothing makes sense......

lolza, 16 May 2013what the article sais isn.t true. The phone costs less than... moreSo they get parts (that I guess shipped themselves for free to the factory) and then what? What about shipping to the country of sale, taxes/tariffs, SG&A? Of course they have to make a profit. What do you think they are running a charity for your benefit? How much of a margin would satisfy you? What are you basing that on?

AMOLED screen would have made this so worth to buy this phone!!! If you are used to AMOLED phones, you WILL NOT like it(Same thing happened to me). Colors are so dull and has no life at all!! I was confused with Nexus 4 and Note 2, m glad i went for note 2. Couple of my frnds bought nexus from ebay. Played the same video on both phones @ full brightness, color saturation was sooooo perfect on note 2 and nexus hardly came close to it... I prefer big screen phones cos i watch lot of videos. If thats important to you, go for AMOLED screens.. Apart from that, every other part gets 10/10.. Amazing performance..!! And Note 2 will lose a point or two there!!

what the article sais isn.t true. The phone costs less than 200 in parts and manufacturing. Anything above that is already a profit....300 would be 100 dollars profit. 475 is already 275 profit...that's more that 135% profit.

Dude get your facts right. The Nexus S was the first Nexus device to come to India. After that came the Nexus 7. All these devices that I'm talking about are the ones that have been launched officially in India. Get your facts right before posting a comment. And stop acting like a wannabe who is never gonna be... LOL....
