Using GSM Arena compare mode with device differences, other than the screen size, differences will not be noticable by the 99% of people buying one of these. You could expect a better performance from base 14 model, same chipset with less screen to power and maintain.

notafanboy, 11 Nov 2023Already got the vanilla 14 with me. It's a good phone ... moreThis is what google has been doing these past years.

Not only did they not allow the clock to be set to the right side without 3rd party apps, they even took out the option to swipe away third party media players from the notification. In the name of security lmao.

And the Android 12 quick settings looked like it was designed for users with fat fingers. All that wasted space.

Already got the vanilla 14 with me. It's a good phone overall, I wanted a compactish flagship that doesn't have a totally neutered camera system. The 13 Non Pro last year was significantly worse than the 13 Pro.
The thing that bothers me the most is that there's no way to switch to the old control center, users are forced to use the weird iOS-like control center. I don't like it, it's gonna take a while for me to get used to it. I'm pretty sure Honor did the same thing which is annoying. Having no choice is NEVER good.
