why sony xperia phones are more popular than lg optimus phones?
the answers is
sony mobile always releasing their phones world wide. and spending too much money for its world wide advertisements...
while
lg is releasing their phones first in some selected countries... and not doing too much advertisements...

Im using Xperia Z and LG Optimus G.
OVERALL THEY ARE BOTH GOOD..
HERE IS MY PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS;
Optimus G is more COMPACT & MORE COMFORTABLE IN HAND THE DESIGN IS BETTER than Xperia Z.
XPERIA Z IS SLIPPERY IN MY HAND...A LOT OF HEAT...
XPERIA Z is LITTLE BIT FASTER...
Xperia z has better Camera indoor...
Optimus G has better Camera OUTDOOR...
Optimus G has GOOD BRIGHTNESS & BALANCED COLORS... more accurate than xperia z.
DISPLAY?
XPERIA Z has WASHED OUT COLOR...while Optimus G IS MORE NORMAL( LIFE-LIKE )
BATTERY LIFE?
XPERIA Z died at 5:14 hours of video playback...
Optimus G died at 6;23 hours of Video playback...
Xperia Z died at 6;04hours of Browsing
Optimus G died at 6;18hours of Browsing
these are all my PERSONAL EXPERIENCED...

IPS fake marke... moreIPS displays are used by graphics designers from the very beginning ... LG toshiba panasonic uses it for display ... LG never claimed they invented IPS and putting double price for their phones sayin IPS ..

The problem with LG is that it hasn't got a good marketing, like Samsung. Samsung has so good marketing, that it can sell even those stupid phones they sell with millions. Their advertisements consist basicaly in blasting other companies and their fans believe all that Sammy throws at them. I am truly disgusted and mad because a company that only stole and copied other phones reached so far. And after they reached this far, they keep on making the same designless phones, all look the same, low end, mid end, high end, it doesn't matter, and they put so many useless features, which makes people buy their phones, even if they won't ever use it. This is Samsung.
