Everyone is talking about who brought the innovation and latest techs, but let me tell you one thing, Sony announced their first water proof phone back in May, 2012 when no one had any idea about what cell phone water proofing is!
They delivered their first water proof phone in June and July of 2012 with the least price. if you wanna see how a water proof phone works, go buy an Xperia Go for maybe $180 or max $200, then you'll get to know that the synonym of technology and innovation is called "SONY".
With the rapid releases of Xperia line up, who knows maybe Sony beats LG or maybe Apple and climb at number 2nd this year. Sony gives you smartphones in every price slot, from the least to the max, you'd find an Xperia there.
P.S. I understand comparing Samsung with Sony, but how in the hell could anyone even say LG Vs SONY? U mad bro?

Xperia Z is just a overpriced phone with adwords waterproof, BRAVIA there is nothing impressive in terms of graphics or performance .. its just equal to any other phone . So better whoever buys that should cry saying there is no VFM ( or should be happy that i have a SONY phone ) . Once you come out of sony fanboyism, u will feel xperia-Z is a just overpriced hyped phone .
Open any LG phone thread , you can see a samsung / sony ad there ... they can market it better but cant convince( fan boys will always be convinced) VFM to real smartphone users also google( thats why google selected LG for nexus manufacturing)

Look I would buy a sony smartphone too,I won't lie there! 1 thing I don't understand is Why people hate LG soooo much?? I think its childish! I'm happy that LG also came 3rd in the in the international smartphone sales for Q1 2013! But you get those who can't admit to it and find various excuse that LG will fall! How dumb of you.

use the xperia Z phone ,it is a faded one compared to optimus G pro ... personally i like optimus G pro display which wont strain eyes and natural .. sony just fools customers by saying BRAVIA engine ..

I'm using a simple example. Henry ford made the 1st car if I'm not mistaken! It was a success Big time. Then afterwards, which it normally happens other car manufacturers followed suite b/c they where fascinated by the idea of a car with four wheels, Not 3, but 4! So eventually as we all know, a lot of car manufacturers started to flourish up the market with similar idea of a car with four wheels and front lights! Henry never complained and said "Holy f%«k!!!!!! These guys are copying me, igoing to sue their nuggets" what I'm trying to emphasis here is that LG might have fascinated by the idea too and probably gave Ericsson(sony)sony Ericsson props on that idea because it worked out quiet perfectly in the market. I would assume that eventually every1 is fascinated by another company technological idea some how.
