All I want is for iOS to have less bugs. I don’t care about generative AI as Apple is clearly behind already. I hope this doesn’t mean we are going to have a buggy iOS 18 just because Apple wanted to push the new generative AI features.
Still, iPhone 16 is on my list as it’s going to have 8GB RAM.

I use iPhone (11 Pro Max) and Android (Gal S8+) both for work.
While apple has the advantage on chipset (performance to battery life is 2 gen ahead of android when comparing like for like), Android is MUCH better on software...
Can easily adjust various volumes, multi tasking, copy and pasting is MUCH better, screen sharing, notifications! (attention aware features as a single toggle in Apple, yikes, you have to decide between worst of two evils with that toggle)... so many things...
Oh, one thing to apple: face unlock! That is pretty good.
Personally if I had the budget and one device, would be Android... but cost wise, iPhone works out cheaper: buy a 2 year old pro max refurbished, and it gets plenty of support still at half the cost of an equivlent new Andoird (And no, you cant buy a 2yr old android as its out of support very quickly). No perfect option!

even galaxy s21 can do AI features like remaster image, object removal or add portrait effect. these are just too new to iphone 15 and 16.

At first they should fix their very easy to break back glass panel, then charging issues and super crawling charging speeds, overheating issues and betzter results in real life use.
Then they should start working on sonmething else.
Having tons of laggs, bugs and issues ignoring them and adding something new if phone does not work as it should is a huge NO.

Every time you post about next year's iPhone. Apple will do this. Apple will do that. But nobody knows about final version of the phone until September. So all of these articles are just clickbaits to earn website traffic and revenue. Nothing else. Shame. 👎

It is so funny to read about artificial intelligence on IPhones while those devices are still too stupid to display content on a connected external 16:9 monitor (for Office apps, file app and other apps/content only letter-boxed in 19,5:9 format)! The absence of any productivity feature [ like split-screen (show two apps side by side on the IPhone display including drag & drop features), Desktop mode, usage of a Pen, overall screen orientation throughout the whole system based on the positioning sensor and many others ] is so incredible incapable, that any discussions about AI on IPhones get a ridiculous flavour. Apple and AI are two separated universes, which - with the kowledge of today - can never meet, as long as the same narrow-minded managers and developers are remaining in that company out of Cupertino.
