Like it or not, companies like these help the consumer; even those who don't buy from them. Higher specced hardware and lower prices keeps the considerably pricier market leaders from completely fleecing their customers as much they would like.

Normal flagship with 1TB at 800-900 euro, good enough. If they could bring such hw to fold it would be better, but seeing how some cannot even bring such hi specs to standard form factor, they still lead.
Plus version will be cool tho, 200mp zoom, if they would move those specs to VR, hello, spy shots XD.

After launch vivo 100x one day later. I am look this both smartphone Vivo x100 and x100 pro in china. This phone camera is great amazing and more great on Vivo x100 pro. But no stereo speaker on both vivo x100/x100 pro. Its only one speaker at bottom firing or mono speaker. That shame. What ever this company is more fokus on camera for x100 series. And I am choose VIVO Iqoo 12 series. Because I like watch movie and play game.

Usually from Vivo.. No matter how great their X-series line up.. The front camera (selfie cam).. Is a JUNK.. Cannot record 1080p60fps..and still no OIS / EIS

I am so SOLD. Base starting under 650😧 is amazing, I was gonna get the s21 ultra for 400$ or s22 at 600 approximately in my country so this is just insane . That camera technology is Phenomenal, I'm EXCITED SOOO EXCITED TO SEE, ZEISS' FIRST TELEPHOTO IMPLEMENTATION 🥇been with them since the Lumia 1020. Loved them then , I hope to do so now.

As the sensor size might be 24mm², the effective lens diameter should be approximately 6.3mm (Pixel 7 Pro has 5.4mm), so regarding diffraction, even more than 66 megapixel would have made sense (90 megapixel at 100mm).

Even the Pixel 8 Pro only has a 110mm camera (18mmx6.132=110mm) with approximately 50 megapixels. And my 7 Pro, which has about the same sharpness as the 8 Pro and a 116mm camera, outperformed the S23 Ultra at 360mm + Night Sight in a store.
If the sensor size is 24mm², then there will be even slightly less diffraction for an object in comparison to an S23 Ultra, but if it has a Quad Bayer color filter array, the sharpness could be lower than with a Bayer array.
