Samsung Galaxy S24 series dummies show a familiar design

The 2024 models are supposed to switch to titanium frames and the Ultra will have a flatter display, but from the back all three models appear the same as the old models.

Just as Apple who has a real problem with launching something really new, also Samsung (and many other brands) are in a position that they just don't put any effort in thinking about something new. It's the same boring design. The only thing I do like about samsung and apple phones is the screen ratio of 19.5:9. I prefer such ration by far against any so called cinematic ratios.
Agreed, there isn't much you can do with a rectangular slab although at the same time there is a lot you can actually do and it doesn't always have to be "new". Some old designs would make a great phone today as well. I think about phones such as the N9/Lumia 800 or the Moto G (3rd gen) with the curved back that stays so well in the hand (but wobbles on flat surfaces) or the Nokia E7 and 808 PureView. There is nothing that would restrict OEMs to revisit these designs to make something new.

              I am always with samsung but very sad fact that samsung mobile design doesn't see any innovation. I am very disappointed with this design.

                2 years in a row.. Without any significant back design? Ooh c'mon Samsung.. S22 and S21 is better in back design

                  I wonder what's all the wailing and crying in the comments section about the phone looking like an A14 bruh, Are you guys serious about not being able to tell the 2 phones apart or it's just a joke, cuz one thing I know only the s23fe can confuse some people into thinking that's a regular s23. But if your serious about it looking like an A14 with no difference, then You might have some bad eyesight or just joking.

                    The flash aligned to first lens(Ultrawide) was the only way to identify a flagship samsung from the back.

                    Nvm I wasn't planning an upgrade anyway. Unlike ios users I don't change phone every year.

                      Same old.. the regular needs a bigger size difference vs the S24+

                        I feel like I'm going to move to Xiaomi 14. I need a compact phone now. Im a fold user since Fold 2 but for 5 years of "improvement" the Fold idea it still looks undercooked. It is not got enough for a daily phone nor is a enough good like a tablet. And is still 250gr. brick in my pocket. Im looking for something more comfortable, compact and lightweight. But definitely not with Exynos crap. No chance!

                          And the androidnerds always cry about iFruit phones having the same design from the previous years. #doublestandards

                            Anonymous, 14 Nov 2023designer having vacation for many years 😊Ha ha true 👍 samsung and even apple have stopped innovating their flagships phones. They are just changing the chip and the material.

                              I cant be the only one who thought that "clean" camera layout on S23 series look so cheap and bland, right? I still prefer proportional camera island over this clean look. From the back they're kinda look so so mid phone, less elegant compared to the phones with camera island.

                                  Anonymous, 14 Nov 2023Your "minimalist" $1000 phone looks no different ... moreat glance perhaps, in person there is a huge quality difference with material and at the seems and besides of course the internals and then the way i also see it, for someone that can't afford the best at least also get a similar minimalist sleek design, but yeah in actuality the a14 material of back side and front isn't the same, not as high quality fitting either and worse internals screen bezels etc, don't let the pictures fool u, in person there is a quite noticable difference
