Example, iPhone 13 lineup. Seems perfect in every way as it fixed the battery life and 5G issues of the 12. Last one was the 11 lineup. I have a feeling the 16 will be another sweet spot, ie very safe to buy for longevity as the regular 16 will get 8GB RAM, and Apple will fix issues that were on the 15.
