And if you"you meaning only online trollers that care the most" are so dissatisfied with the colors of Amoled then go to settings, display, walla. Almost the exact same accuracy as LCD except with still all the benefits of Amoled.
Overall less power consuming, deep true blacks no matter the brightness, best angles"again only online trollers claim to be useless", Least reflective in sun, thinner displays, direct light, even lighting, faster response, better white balance"color balance", and so forth. You can have it either way. LCD just cannot compete

Where do people get that from? that's like the people that claim people dont use nfc and bluetooth still a lot. 32gb is good, but in today more is still easily useable. You have 320k and lossless music. Phones that record 5 minute HD video the size of a whole movie just to reserve quality, HD content, and many memory hogs.
And if looks is your main concern and not performance than get the Motorola Droid Razr. Looks way better than just about any phone and still has decent performance.

DL, 22 May 2013As an owner of a HTC One, I'll weigh in on why this phone d... moreYou literally just made and endless ramble on how the One is better because you like the way it looks better while also making false statements. Looks is preference and the S4 is only considered ugly by online trollers. Never once have I come across anyone who thought any Galaxy was even remotely ugly or unappealing. Not at all. Camera? on PAPER as you say the One does marvelous in night, but not as much in REAL WORLD. And it's daylight shots are equal in brightness, but not quality and color reproduction. Not the same. And the polycarbonate is high grade plastic that does not feel cheap and wont get horrible scratches and dings. And when dropped the S4 does not loose front plates from a simple height.
Some people only care about looks...They get iphone...Which is not the most attractive either....Touch wiz is very intuitive. People consider Sense prettier not most functional. Touchwiz now especially is a very intuitive overlay of vanilla droid. Very nice. And the S4 simply performs better in every aspect and still looks good. That's what counts.

As an owner of a HTC One, I'll weigh in on why this phone deserves to do better than the S4. My wife owns an iPhone, and work colleagues currently have either iPhones or Galaxy S2 or 3. We can get all worked up about who has the better on paper specs but in the real world, the majority of people don't care about quad vs octacore processors etc. Here's why the HTC One is a better real world phone;
Design: the aluminum case gives the phone a premium feel, and the design is clean, simple and attractive. The same reason iPhone sells so well, aesthetics are everything, the plastic S4 doesn't have that same air of quality/design about it.
Speakers: front facing stereo speakers mean not just great music/video playback, but also loud, clear sound when your phone rings that won't be muffled when the phone's in your pocket. Call clarity is outstanding as well. Both of these are relevant and will be thought of by buyers.
Camera: Daylight performance is just as good as S4, iPhone, there's negligible difference. Nighttime performance however IS noticeably better than the competition. Very relevant to the majority of us who are using our phones to take pictures, hmm, AT NIGHT, when we're out with friends etc. Daylight doesn't matter, if you want a properly good daylight photo to put on your wall, you'll have a real camera handy.
Interface: HTC's sense adds a more mature style to the android platform. S4s still feels a bit cheap with its interface. When most people are concerned with aesthetics, this matters.
Storage: 32gb is heaps, and 64 is huge. iPhone doesn't have an SD slot and I haven't heard a single iPhone user cry about it. SD slots don't matter to the majority of buyers, they don't get used.
This talk about build quality? I'm holding my HTC One in my hand right now and it's built perfectly. This is a phone with great looks and real world useful features. I think once more Ones start to roll out, we'll probably see a shift towards it from iPhone and Galaxy. The S4s an excellent phone, but the One trumps with better looks and feel. Appearance matters to the majority of buyers, specs are a very distant second, and with One and S4 being so close otherwise, I think the One's build and finish will see it win out with most buyers. Time will tell I guess.

Let's not get it twisted. The best screen is the HTC ONE. Now, I'm saying that after a full afternoon with the HTC ONE, the S4, and the LG Optimus G Pro. The chipsets are similar. The difference for me was the unnaturally lit screen of the Samsung product, and the GORGEOUS screen of the ONE, snd the G Pro.. They all have their merits. The ONE has a screen that has to be seen, over time against the competition, to be believed. The G Pro for me was best in that now, I need no tablet. The 401 ppi based 5.5 inch screen of the LG G Pro won me over. I need a large screen. So it's a tablet,( or Phablet) for me. The S4 never had a chance, not after looking at the ONE.

1) pretending htc is the best out there, if you don't really understand anything go check some articles and tests in good lighting and dark scenes s4 destroys the htc one here you can find it here on the front Page
2) one's speaker is no louder than s4 and iphone 5's but the quality is the best out there and also here is the test for you to see in
3) battery issues, dead pixels, gap problems had to be corrected before it was released and they have to take care of it as soon as possible, the newer batches must be problem free4) i used xperia z, htc one and made my final decision for the S4 which i am still using... instead of deceiving yourself go buy an S4 and compare it with the one5) but if only design and front stereo speakers are important for you then i have nothing to say :)) S4 kills one in every other respect

2) Production issues with the first batches.
3) Wait till the 4.2.2. lands on the One.
4) They are louder than other speakers while giving rich and full sound.
Not to mention it's STEREO and front facing.
5) One's camera is better that S4's in every condition but zooming in on photos.
6) Sorry Samsung but you have a long way to reach HTC's build quality and reliability.

i think htc built this phone in a hurry and HTC ONE DOES HAVE BUILD QUALITY ISSUES
1) There is gap on the top of the phone where aliminum meets the plastic (in som cases more than 1 milimeter)
2) Dead pixels show just like the old htc's (Also you can see stuck hot pixels using the camera in very dark situtations)
3) Battery is very poor way behind the S4
4) Speakers may have the best quality around but they are not loud as you'd like them to be
5) One's camera may be good in poor lighting conditions but TRY THE S4'S NIGHT MODE :))) You will never want to take these pics with htc one
6) Sorry HTC but you have a long way to reach samsung's build quality and reliability

Anonymous, 18 May 2013So why are you here? Posting your so-call Pro review? Nah..... moreDeleted your own post and back again, buddy? LOL! Anyway, the reason I'm here is planning to get one for my chic since she is also into "premium" looks. Just wanted her to ditch her iphone and welcome her to Android...and that will make sharing easier for us. She wouldn't bother about the internal specifications, though. Unfortunately, the stores here are out of stock for HTC One due to the shortage of supply. Sigh!

[deleted post]I don't think I ever mentioned that other smartphones are crap. A lot to do with your intelligent assumptions and about smartphone innovation knowledge (which is kinda invisible in your post, cough...)
When I mentioned about the rest of the Android phones, it was about market capitalisation. Also replying to people who are comparing about value for money, price and bla..bla...
By the way, I came from HTC One, HTC Desire, Galaxy S, Galaxy S2, Asus Padfone2 prior to Galaxy S4. Your term of "sheeps" doesn't apply just because you say so. ;)

Plus, if you really understand the Taiwan's modern culture, that was just another drama which could happened in every months and years. Don't forget, Mobile 01 had it's own fault too.

I just don't understand when people say that HTC One is more valuable than S4. By what?
-Coke-can aluminium body that doesn't cost more than the plastic?
-that tiny stereo speakers that you'd never use it public?
-Ultrapixel camera that only shoots great at night?
-thicker phone despite having 4.7 inch screen (try putting a case and see how thick it becomes and don't give me the bullsh*t that you don't use protective case?)
-No quick toggle bars
-no MicroSD card slot (your favourite pictures and videos are gone if your smartphone is dead. Cloud storage? You must be kidding.)
-Non-removable 2300MAH battery (at least Motorola RAZR MAXX had a good reason)
-crapdragon quadcore Krait processor?
-having battery draining LCD that scores nothing in comparison with Super AMOLEDs with minimum brightness.
Samsung have been using plastic build from their very first Galaxy models and it never impressed necklace loving-guys. Geeks and smartphone enthusiast made the Galaxy S series so popular than the rest of the Android phones. I remember when everyone else had HTCs long time back, they were like asking me "Huh,Samsung?" But that time HTC was good, just missed out on internal memory storage (less than 2GB?) that most users didn't even notice until they used it for sometime.
What I have here is octacore S4 and in technical point of view:
-big screen engineered well to fit into thin tiny shell (smaller than s3)
-SuperAMOLED screen (those who are used to it will never go back to LCD)
-octacore processor (ARM's Big.little technology) which may not be perfectly optimised yet for now, but still outperforms Krait processors slightly. If perfectly optimised, Snapdragon 600 doesn't stand a chance to beat this processor in terms of speed, power efficiency or 3D graphic performance.
-13MP camera (no big deal with smarphone cameras but at least snaps sharp and detailed pictures)
-many sensors (may not be useful on daily basis but there is a possibility that more apps will be customised for it in near future)
-you get the latest software updates compared to the competitors (that is also one of the reasons why people prefer nexus smartphones)
-DDR3 RAM and other internals (If you say internal specs are not important, then I'm guessing that you are one of smart ppl who willing to buy intel celeron laptop for the price of intel i7 laptops)
-last but not least, the eco-system. Samsung is the biggest Android maker and others are still in single digit shares (which means not even 10%). So what? Oh well, didn't you realise that HTC slashed their R&D and operating cost lately due to poor profit gain? HTC One sales alone not going to save the company.
By the way, HTC One is priced higher than S4 in my country and for me I think it is worthless. HTC should instead sell it for cheaper price for a device which has lesser overall innovations than S4, not higher or the same price for the matter.
