let me tell you all this:
-OS is subjective
iOS maybe is simpler, but Android is more open, WP is the hybrid of the two, we customers can decide
-looks are subjective
if i were to ask, i love how Moto design their phones and their durability, buy maybe many of you will argue
-but performance don't lie
as in this case, SGS4 tops 'em all droids, and many people noticed that too, so it reflected with the sales. Samsung is good at defeating their rivals performance-for-price wise, and the trend continues with SGS4
in the end, it's up to the consumer. may the best phone win our hearts!

AnonD-100960, 18 May 2013lets be honest, i work in a phone shop and the amount of pe... moreyou work in a shop and still you prefer Samsung s4 ..that is really very bad...you pay so much for a lagging device with worst design for a flagship ..that has heating issues...well speaker placement is not just for listening to the music while sitting at the back of the bus in teens but it is necessary every time you place your mobile on table..if speakers are on back that will definitely reduce the loud speaker volume and you may miss one or two notifications..
I will prefer HTC ONE any day ..while i am an apple user i would really love to switch with my friend for HTC ONE.. that is the best you can get in android right now...
About using the cases.. i would say use cases while in tough situations you dont need to put them on everytime

You say you don't care a... morelets be honest, i work in a phone shop and the amount of people who stick their HTC, sony and ihpones in PLASTIC cases is staggering, the fact of the matter is that yes i agree that the s4 is a little overpriced sure, but compared to the iphone 5 which lets face it is really a mid range feature phone makes the price seem comparable, HTC could never sell the one for the same price because of its problems, and really had to mark the price down, build quality is akin to looks, which is subjective, i have seen plenty of aluminium devices damaged very easily, especially the black ones, and personally i prefer my poly-carbonate any day, bear in min i also do NOT use a case in my s4 and it has been dropped onto a wooden floor twice already without showing signs of marks,( i now have orderd a case for my own safety :-), your argument for front facing speakers is pointless as well to be honest unless you are 16 and sitting at the back of the bus with your mates, who actually plays music that often to reap the supposed benefits of this, (buy a cheap bluetooth speaker for sound which will eclipse any type of phones speaker) i know that the htc has a louder speaker setup then the s4, but mine is also very loud even compared to the s3 and that was pretty good, overall, what is good for you does not equate to being good for someone else, so calling them blind clearly shows ur lack of intelligence and understanding of anyone elses needs other then your own

How many of u sammy fans are here? You say you don't care about build quality, about speakers etc., then I think you guys are blind, cause sgs4 looks like a mid ranger in front of one. Sgs4 is way overpriced for its quality. And yes, GS4 holds better resale value than any other brand (excluding iPhone, maybe) only because of it's famous and popular brand, not because it's a better phone. All the galaxy series are dull and mainstream. And after the release of galaxy s4, samsung should change their name to SAMEsung lol. Peace.
