Since this year is almost by, the chipset is more like 2 years old now.
It's still a good price for a device of this caliber, but its battery life is rather disappointing.

Your lie about Samsung launch the S23U 25% below its global price is outright unlettered. Romania is part of the EU, if you could buy the phone there for less than a grand, everybody in the EU would be buying their phones in Romania.

The ultra lost about 40% of its launching price in less than a year, while the 14 pro max lost 15% in more than a year.

All phones drop in value rapidly. End of. Your fantasy of Apple phones retaining prices like it is 2008 is long gone. Supply and demand dictates price and Apple can no longer boost resale prices by limiting supply.

Soon the microsd card slot, not their factories that still make micro sd cards, will be gutted out as well. Last ones to get screwed will be the budget series.

Samsung’s strategy is so funny to me:
- launch an overpriced phone to see who falls for it
- discount it in a couple of weeks
- discount it even further as time goes on so that it finally reaches the correct price it should’ve launched at so that now it seems like a “good deal” to consumers
- repeat
And then they wonder why their phones devalue so rapidly in the used market…

Battery optimization is bad, you have to charge 2 times even at moderate usage, should have given atleast 5000mah battery
