        Imagine paying more for A55 and get an Exynos chipset. I might as well buy this instead, especially when the chipset has proved its worth in GSMArena's HTC U23 Pro review.

          Why no SD 7 gen 3.
          Oh i understand Samsung would like to sell this phone with SD 7 gen 1 for a price brand like Xiaomi would sell same phone with SD 7 gen 3.
          Pure robbery on a customer.

            oooh, this would probably had been the chip inside the A74 if it existed

            Still this CPU slaps the Exynos 1380 in every way

              Yet another joke of an SoC. It's already old, and just look at how poor the battery performance is on Mi 13 Lite and Moto Razr 40. Doubtful if this is even an improvement over the Exynos. Good job Samsung.

                This chipset isn't very good at battery efficiency. All or most 7 gen 1 phones have average battery life

                      When the M54 is just announced and having Pre order in my country, the next successor is already leaked. Not so reliable Samsung in my country.

                          I never trust any samsung foundry product. Feels like it will have lack here and there. TSMC's naming for adding "+" has just convinced me more that they're correcting the fault of the making process before. You can pick any of their processor form mid to flagship, you will feel that it was just made in a better and proper way.

                                  The SD 7 Gen 1 in this article seems to be slightly more powerful than the SD 855(linked review).

                                    Apple, Samsung policy - give half ask for double.
                                    At a time when snapdragon launched 7 gen 3, they won't even give that low level chip.

                                      I doubt this is even an upgrade over Exynos 1380. 5nm to 4nm Samsung but also good A78/A55 to bad A710/510. And just because it has the name Qualcomm on it doesn’t mean it’s actually better, see Snapdragon 888/8 Gen 1.
