    Now I realized that taro is ALSO the name of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Yeah, the Samsung one.
    Maybe Samsung is underclocking it to make the "Snapdragon 7 Gen 2"?

    That's to stop selling the 7+ Gen 2 and use just it and the S7 Gen 3 as the "sucessor".

      Wait!
      Taro is the codename of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2!
      I say that because I own a Poco F5 and had the same codename in Aida 64 (Taro)

        The 7 Gen 3 just came out, and Samsung just mass produced the 7 Gen 1 lol That's because it has something to do with 7 Gen 1 being manufactured from Samsung, not TSMC.

          The A55 will probably have the same chipset, otherwise the Exynos 1480 (probably better than 7 gen 1 in power efficiency and stability though, Exynos has improved greatly over the past months)
