wutsirbud, 22 May 201384k score? enough heat to fry an egg? That's some how true..it seems eventually there will be a peak for a high powered processor to be needed on a phone....its just a phone. And that can't replace a pc!! A time will come when these octa-core or upcoming proccessors on a phone will require a fan on top. The s4 gets Hot like mad when playing high graphic games

Samsung should launch the new phablet and phone together so buyers can make an informed decison. Now what happens is new phone comes early in the year making the note obsolete. So a person who is planing to buy a note(due to its largness of the screen, s pen), faces a dilema as the phone is much more advanced technologically than the phablet and phablet has become old news at this time. At least they have to make both note and phone of the same generation technologically smilar at least on basics (e.g. Camera, hipset and CPU)while differentiating on functions. Now I am facing this problem. I love note 2, but since s4 has become the 'Heppening trend', don't want to buy an obsolete technology too.. Samsung ! Make the lives of your loyal customers easy !

A lot more matters than the core speed, an exynos, built using the latest A15 architecture, does a lot more work at lower clock rate than the Qualcomm's 800, which just implements sections of A15. in short exynos 5410 is a through bred, while the snapdragon 800, is a wannabe. Also consider other important specs like memory bandwidth etc.. the exynos has almost twice the memory bandwidth of qcom. Just check the video record, playback capabilities, or compare the spec sheets. Also the chip vendors could tune the performance to specific apps. This explains why some chipsets do well in tests, but fail to live up in real world use cases.

But I doubt about the score, it is way too high, probably fake change by someone before post.

I am very doubtful about the SD800 benchmarks (but am happy to be proved wrong). Antutu bench marks of the SD800 in early april were around 32000.

If they are true then it will be interesting to see the battery life.

Limited, 22 May 2013Octa Core phones = more battery consumption. haaaayy..You are either ignorant or trolling.... i will give you the benefit of the doubt.

The Octacore is 2 quad core processors. One is high performance for heavy duty tasks like gaming, the other is low powered for basin tasks like camera, sms, phone calls etc. Most the time the smaller processor is running, the other only kicks in when needed. This means you have awesome performance and great battery life at the same time.
