2. I prefer Samsung's classic, straight-to-business UI.
3. Samsung's generally has better performance, yet guzzles less battery, than chrome.

ONLY reason I'd choose chrome is sync. Just that. Nothing else.

I was a big chrome fan boy until Microsoft Edge

I use Edge browser on my Windows 10 PC, and Samsung browser on my phone. To copy my PC bookmarks into Samsung my phone i use the Samsung browser Widget for Edge, and it works well for me

Did you read the comments? Samsung internet users don't use it for either speed or privacy or even a compromise, they use it for the features they listed. If you have other priorities you are free to use the browser you want, not criticize others preferences.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2023They don't. Yes they do. I use Samsung browser because adgaurd doesn't work on chrome. Works great on Samsung browser. Can't stand crime in pixel because of all the garbage. Using adgaurd with Samsung browser 9n android is the best experience.

Instead of this trash browser, just use something that's actually optimized for anything other than siphoning your data. Brave is about the best compromise between speed and privacy you can get.
The Samsung browser is literally only popular because it's the default for Samsung phones.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2023They don't. You must be doing something wrong, adblock for samsung browser on play store works great for me, even the adguard content blocker, i get 90% from this website https://d3ward.github.io/toolz/adblock.html

I have tried FOUR web browsers Chrome has to stay as I have come across ONE site that doesn't support Samsung Internet or Firebox Mobile, (Firefox BROWSER YES?) just one site!

Edge is good however deleting browser history is a phone only option, for some unknown reason it is BACKED up in your Outlook a/c. logon to mainframe to delete

Samsung Internet (SI) has a Privacy option you have to LOGIN into to open it, if you multitask away, you have to login again. Private is just not sitting there
SI can save bookmarks that are ONLY saved in Private,
SI has an inbuilt ad blocker also Sync bookmarks across devices I have two phone update on one updates both
SI you can move bookmarks, bookmarks appear to be save in date order. After saving a new one I reposition into alpha, ALL my bookmarks are in Alpha order

Firefox appears to have everything SI has, BUT saving a bookmark in private NO! Bookmark saved in date order

(On SI I don't have my ANDROID banking app, expressly for that purpose, the bookmark is saved in Privacy. Even my bank name is not shown on home pages

For me I have TRIED 4, now Chrome and Edge may indeed have many of the SI features. the two I use are SI and Firefox. It's really to see if you like or dislike it download it go to settings and see the list of features offered, no like UNINSTALL

Good to hear. Samsung Internet has the best dark mode.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2023i prefer brave since it won't be affected by manifest v3Any internet browser with built-in adblocker will not affected
So far only slimjet and catsxp (both has built-in adblocker) that detected as adblocker on YouTube web. Even edge with its strict tracking prevention is labeled as adblocker by google

I dont see a point of this. Like on windows there is already standard browser as Edge and was before internet explorer. If you download other browser you go with Chrome at first.
Well i now use Brave cause even adblock is giving me ads on there own that i need to block on there own blocker cause i dont care there offer of VPN and it's annoying that that pops up in the corner of the screen or that adblock cant silently update and need to open up new tab to show the install progress par.

I used brave, Firefox, Vivaldi and opera. Never use chrome since it take so much resources.
Another reason: to avoid google, since brave, Vivaldi and opera has built-in adblocker. Just add filters into it and done.
