Nothing like that, it's more like the fact that I have no issues with Chrome, as all websites work on that as well, as if that's somehow shocking that a web browser can open websites.

justasmile, 29 Nov 2023Of course collecting data too.no browsers that does not collect data. websites do collect your data whenever you are connected to the internet.

          1 all websites work
2 end user can organize and sync bookmarks, site settinfs and preferences, passwords and autofill, from other browsers on desktop to the mobile versions
          3. When I save a bookmark the browser asks me where to save it in my bookmark hierarchy, it doesn't just choose the most recent where I have to quickly, under 1 second tap the pop-up and save to my location of preference.
          4. Autofill works!
Chrome is spartan to pick and choose autofill or to press the "key" logo!

          5. Does NOT try to be a proxy to websites to further siphoned my user data including my passwords- trust me you'll see a lot of tech savvy users stop using Chrome for this VERY purpose!!

6.i have a READER mode on the mobile variant something Chrome on Android does NOT have and no extensions.

There's a lot more as well.

When Apple made Safari for windows we had many uninformed users state the same thing on Windows ans within a year MANY loved it worh downloads surpassing Chrome.

Which is funny cause thr KHTML engine sourced from Netscape was headed by 1 top engineer from BOTH Google and Apple and first debuted on the Nokia N80 smartphone. Many do NOT know this and with dweeb rewriting internet facts this is very difficult to find. Some of us have been using internet since the dawn and before.

            1. It has Quick Access you can save multiple website in home like app list and visit them very Quick, Neither Firefox nor chrome has this feature, opera also has it, I have been using it fore more than decade now very handy.

            2. Real time translator like Chrome (work in Samsung phones)

            3. Ability to check file name and size before downloading, very handy when you download from suspicious website and avoid downloading unnecessary apk

            4. Video assistant, it can cast only Embebed video to your TV or wireless display,

            5. Lightweight and don't use battery much

                Educate yourself.

I will stick with edge for now although I use Samsung internet in my Samsung phone

You won't convince me to replace Firefox with its sea of plugins.

basically chrome with samsung ui and features.
anyway, love using the mobile app. runs better compared to brave on my vivo v9. with ABP ad blocker it's much more effective on blocking ads compared to brave's built in. with firefox.. not so sure on mobile but had a good experience on laptop.

Tried most other browsers but this is the only one with a good interface where I can actually access favorites and bookmarks without reaching across the screen in a hidden sub-menu. Good adblocker. Good options and lots of them. Customizable. Made for doing things quickly and with one hand.
