Samsung hikes smartphone camera prices as market rebounds

Samsung must bring it on! just let them increase price and Sony, Omnivision, could took the slice of market Pie. samsung gets the wrong move of giving other companies a chance to steal it's customer

    I won't be surprised if the price hike would affect the 32MP, 48MP, and 64MP camera sensors since most brands are going all out on 108MP and 200MP.

      samsung itself is safe since they still use 2020 cam tech

        Like ti atters there are plenty fo comoanies who can do that for same or lover price and better.
        Samsung is not important.
        If they wanna loose more customers this is a good way how to do.
        Inflation is everywhere. Maybe 20-30 yeas from now and common people would be unable to buy even most basic phones because of pricing.

The competition has just boiled down to following the price trends of the big companies and that makes an uncompetitive and stale market. The TV market has been moderately competitive or a bit more till a few years ago, until QD-OLED came and we got better TVs from both Samsung AND LG. These companies can and WILL make a profit on most stuff, it's just that they hold out on features to maximise profit while screwing over customers and since the average person is one who can't differentiate good competition from bad practices from them (such as you), then yeah, it's no wonder why companies can continue to screw us over. We don't have to support these businesses for minute risks they take, what risks have Samsung and Apple taken over the years? They've been playing it safe and just providing good albeit not so special products. Instead of sucking the companies try standing up for yourself. Consumerism has become so rampant that blatant support for greedy companies such as these is normal now (see any Samsung vs Apple camera comparison). If this keeps up we're gonna get a redo of the GPU market and maybe even the CPU market for computers Pre-AMD Ryzen. We'll see how fun that'd be for you. Those companies are still making profit but yes, they're less than before. So don't trust these companies when they act like they'll shrivel up and die or something if you pay a little less than what the MSRP is. Look at how quickly Samsung phones lower in price. Lmao get real bro

              And business will try maximise the profit ,either by selling more ,at higher prices or both . Market determines which avenues business follow I.e. What people are willing to pay for something and how many of them are there .

              So screwing is called a profit . That's a reward for the owners undertaking the adventure and risk in order to create something .

                Get the sensors from Sony, which is superior, or any of the other camera manufacturers who haven't been seeing growth recently.
