Depending on Sonys strategy and stock either they'll make more money by selling more cameras bc they haven't raised their prices like samsung OR they'll raise their prices too and make more money per sensor

Imagine them chasing the next shiny but still use it like their phone from 5 years ago.

Hold on to your phones until something ACTUALLY makes sense. Since the days of the S8 I'd say smartphone companies have staggered immensely in terms of year over year improvements. The jump from the S8 to the S21 Ultra would've been noticeable and actually a cause for an upgrade, not something like the S20 Ultra to the S23 Ultra, completely stagnated now and the software would start to feel slow now mostly because of the companies slowing them down most likely. I don't see old windows computers feeling slow after having an SSD in them.

I remember when i noticed i understood that a lot of people are just sheep, who will go where the wolf tells them to.
I can't say that i'm a lot better, but i haven't had or advised on getting a phone without removable storage, that requires alien fingers after using a 16:9 phone or has a glass-random-glass sandwich.

I have an addiction to new tech, no matter how small the spec (bump, increase). So, until I stand up, plus millions of others, this is what we’re stuck with.

Exmor is way more expensive, still has more than 2x the sales.
Obviously, far better.
Using omnivision, samsung, galaxycore or sk hynix instead of sony is only be ause lower prices, not quality based.
Replace hp2 for imx707, then s23u would do better.
