They got money is same way, just that "the colour of the hair" is different. All these western giants will be 1 quarter of what they are if not completely bust without contracts with governments.

The very reason that Chinese company can make affordable products is because the very reason you hate them, which is they were pro people, not pro corporation.
By having affordable education, healthcare & housing, the Chinese create a society that's not expensive thus can have lower wages that can afford basic needs.
If all the brand you just mentioned.... Google, sony, Samsung.... Want to be more affordable... They're gonna need to .......

Government assistance for private companies is nothing new. Look at the government bailout for American banks during the GFC and the recent Chips Act that is subsidising chip making in the US.

Apple who have had goverment funding for donkeys years, basically have their own town and are a multi trillion dollar company (richer than what, 99% of all countries) with phones that have had multiple security breaches within the last 10 years.
Dont forget samsung aswell who have monopolised our entire market, the owner who was found out to be trying to bribe goverment officals and ALSO have had multiple security breaches within the last couple of years on their devices through their security chip (so yes, all you apple and samsung owners, you should be worried) and just like apple, have multiple VERY serious lawsuits against them from countries including France, korea, China themselves currently on going.
Dont worry though because the UK atleast have half their telecoms infrastructure made by huawei and theres even a post ON THIS SITE saying HMD CEO admitting their tech is YEARS behind huawei and shouldn't basically swap.

Copying can only get you so far. Remember, when they got their hands on an ASML machine they took it apart to try to find it how it worked. It seems they are checking off items one by one to establish self sufficiency. If someone blocks or banish you for one thing, there's no guarantee they won't do it for other things, especially the ones like USA.

GSMA (GSM association) sided with Huawei on 6Ghz for 5.5G & 6G
America FCC quickly made 6Ghz become WiFi 6E to halt Huawei.
And as of now 3 countries in middle east & brazil is on field trial of 5.5G with 6Ghz with promised 10GBps speed, way faster than the USA mmWave that can't go pass glass & wall.
