Samsung Galaxy A05s in for review

A strong specs sheet, great looks, and low price - what more could you want?

Sort by:

It will be laggy, no UFS, dated CPU with its One UI. And also without charger, case, screen protector etc. which are very useful for low end phones.

GSMArena asks "What more could you want?". Anyone who needs a cheap phone that is reliable should *still* be pissed off. This phone should be the A05 instead, and should be sold for $150. It should also have 6GB of RAM for all versions and 128GB of UFS2.2 storage. Finally, put a 5MP or 8MP ultrawide instead of the useless 2MP depth, or just remove both the 2MP depth and the 2MP macro. Ideally, they should remove both 2MP snappers and put in a basic 8MP ultrawide, but *NO*, Samsung can't offer good value for money and has to create artificial segmentation to push people to buy the higher tier up.

Also, the A15 has no real reason to exist. The whole naming scheme of Samsung's Axx devices is confusing and badly done, so I propose having a name scheme that goes like this: A24 Lite is the A05s, A24 is the A35 and is sold for $250, A24+ is the S23FE sold for $450 and uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 while also having an autofocusing ultrawide capable of macro.

Still not forgiving Samsung for backtracking on their screen design. A11 and A21 both had punch hole displays so WTH happened
