      Anonymous, 09 Dec 2023OP12 x X100 Pro OP wins: SoC, endurance, design , UI ... moreI would say SoC is a tie between SD8g3 and D9300. D9300 seems to have the upper hand in efficiency and raw performance, but GPU-intensive apps are (usually) a bit more optimised for SD SoCs, and glancing at the spec sheet 8g3 seems to have a better modem too.

        Please, can anyone tell me in some words what is the difference between FuntouchOS(Global ROM for Vivo) and OriginOS(China ROM)? The China X100PRO Model with 16GB RAM and 512GB memory it’s around 850-900€. In Europe will be most likely around 1200€ or maybe more. Why should I buy a Global model with FuntouchOS for minimum 1200€ instead buy a China one with OriginOS for 850€?

          Will it be available in Belgium?

                  Pleasant surprise that it is launched so soon globally but we will have to see if later they also dare to launch the pro plus version.

                        Also, their phone get way faster price drop, even from xiaomi themselves.
                        This helps.

                          jiyen235, 09 Dec 2023what about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, how did that get launched? ... moreYou say it yourself. Why would a company take risky decisions when it can opt not to? Vivo and Oppo individually are nowhere as big as Xiaomi and don't gain that much from having to release their top phones everywhere. They'll lose popularity for being so much more expensive compared to their Chinese prices. Xiaomi is similar to Huawei, in that, their popularity is high enough to sell even at increased prices. Vivo and Oppo stick to sending phones to reviewers - which asserts their phone's capabilities and increases their popularity, while not having to release it everywhere. It's rather smart as a corporate decision. I can understand your perspective but you must also see it from the company's eyes. No business is built for the customer's wants only.;;

                            CargoJoe, 09 Dec 2023There is no Pro+. Not even mentioned in their China launch lol. ain't no way there isn't gonna be a Vivo X series flagship without the SD 8 Gen 3, that'd be just plain dumb, also the new 1 inch sensor isn't here on these phones either. Pretty sure we're gonna get the Pro+ along with the Find X7 Pro

                              jiyen235, 09 Dec 2023Photography Redefined motto yet again? lemme guess next yea... moreThere is no Pro+. Not even mentioned in their China launch lol.

                                It's kinda late for an X series from Vivo to launch. Which is mid December. At this point by March 2024 the Vivo X110/200 would likely launch since they have a bi-yearly launch cycle. But I'm not surprised if Malaysia will get this series first considering the high amount of media coverage it has on its China-only launch last month.

                                As a side note there won't be a Pro+ this time. Although it's said to be renamed to a different series. Or a new series altogether. Probably like Vivo 1 Ultra or something 😂.

                                      jiyen235, 09 Dec 2023The moment they started making phones better than before is... moreSelling in China =/= selling outside China

                                      90 Pro+ was almost $1000 in China. To sell in other markets, device needs to be certified by local communication agency, pay import taxes, costs to have it make to stores ( or distribuition center if sales are only online).

                                      Tell me the chances Vivo has to sell enough to cover these costs if the phone ends costing over $1400.

                                      Not even India has gotten Pro+ anymore.
