Does this mean all the Xiaomi 14 series won't launch globally?

If I were to buy a xiaomi phone it would definitely be the pro. The vanilla is too small and the Ultra is too flashy. Pro was always a good balance. Though tbf, with the poor sales of the s23 plus and other middle of the pack phones, it makes sense to re evaluate

But we'll just have to wait to see if the Ultra does go global. That way, at least there's one for the smaller-hand and not extreme ones and one for the extreme ones (hard to explain, but you get the point)

              Very lame.

No phone above $350 should have this

Since the Xiaomi 14 also has almost the same specs as the Pro... it's still worth buying. Far better than S24 Ultra or 15 Pro Max

So what, all these higher end ccp phones are on their way out of US and europe anyways due to multiple reasons.

most people outside China were scared by the previous quality issue. We had 4 Xiaomi in the past, 3 failed to turn on after 1 year. Whereas all our Samsungs and iphone are still working like charm after 3-10 years, except the batteries won't last. Other countries will want it but definitely not the North America and some part of Europe.

It won't change even after so many years. If they want Android, either Pixel or Samsung. Even after price drops, they want Samsung/Pixel mostly. They won't look for OnePlus 11/12 or even Motorola phones which are killer deals at black Friday sales.

Please show interest and they will bring. Xiaomi 13 Ultra noone bought. Xiaomi 13 Pro noone bought. That's the reason. People prefer Samsung and Apple outside China. At some extent Pixel. In my country, people prefer Pixel, but won't choose Xiaomi 13 Pro even though it's 400-500 dollars cheaper. Same with Vivo and Oppo phones. Oppo doesn't even release find series in my country. But Oppo Reno series, they don't even look at it despite being miles better than Samsung. People needs to change perspective towards Chinese OEMs. They are far better than Samsung and Apple in some scenarios. If you show interest, they will excel in all departments.

Entering US market is extremely difficult. Majority of consumers buy from carriers, so any OEM have to make deals with US carriers, and that will require a lot of capital. That's not possible for these companies operating with thin margins.
