why not create a gaming phone without a camera so in that way can make it cheaper?

    I don't know why ASUS go for punch holes when the bezels look so much better. After all, most apps and custom Android OS skins still can't natively hide the punch holes, unlike LG and Huawei, which lets you hide it as a cutout bar.

          Seems like they've gotten rid of bezels, the signature ROG look, full display and also the gaming buttons on the side. What a shame

              Not to mention that even the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has an under display camera.

                What happened to Asus after that exposure by Gamer Nexus is ugly for real. I would expect they removed the Headphone Jack again.

                I guess ZTE Nubia Redmagic 9 was right about their competitors, go big or go home. Despite the Bloaty Bloatwares.

                    With those slim bezels and punch hole design, camera setup, loss of front facing speakers, it's turning more into a casual phone than a gaming phone.

                            Holy crap this seems like a fail. The first rog to give me pause if these are the specs. If I wanted a hole in my screen I'd probably just switch to Samsung or even iPhone. Smaller battery, no macro?, no front firing speakers?. A headphone jack is the only positive I see.
                            I'm guessing it would be lighter with the same screen size and smaller battery but honestly I can't see that mattering much. 256gb is also too small for me and unless the 1tb is not much more, I'd prefer they start at 500gb like the rog 2 😕

                              Because of this punch hole disaster, im totally switching to the only decent design, xperia 1. Farewell ROG, i will cherish my good memories with you. ROG phone 3 is the last good ROG phone.

                                        The back of the phone with the attached aeroactive cooler is all matte and the logos doesnt coincide with the base ROG 8 and ROG 8 Pro. The Ultimate version, maybe?
