Theoretically, since the benchmarks are similar, E1480 can be as fast as SD870, a very skilled and fast chipset used on older, 2020/2021 flagships. Also on par with 7 Gen 3. Exynos is stepping UP.

I don't know about the chpset, but if will look like a54 (extremely heavy, thick bezels like a 2015 phone, slow charging) they can keep it for themselves.

The midrange A series segment is crucial for sammy to sustain long term high ptofit. Only fanboy was blinded by the ois camera , ip68 in the spec sheet . Shame.

everytime they used the chip .Now we already reach 2 million score antutu for flagship A+ grade processor .
A midrange score for 2024_ should at least half from that.
Samsung always put under power soc for their mid range and asking $ 450- 500 price .

Anyway, let's just see how the power efficiency fares. We've seen the S23 FE Exynos heat up less than the S22 Exynos and not just the vapour chamber helping out.

This phone is NOT a VLASS A phone it's a class B or C at best so it gets the SoC it deserves.
Else be ready to pay for A class SoC in a phone that doesn't fully match the specs of such and only the SoC you've requested.
Some seriously need an education of this industry for real.

Similar design to A54, A53, A52, A51 and to the S series. Samsung and apple are experts at repeating front looks.
Atleast the punch-hole could have been moved to one corner of the screen like the oneplus9 pro series has which I am planning to buy instead of this phone because of thos front look (in addition to other factors too of course).

All I wish for the A55 is a lighter body and smaller bezel. No reason for a phone this small to be more than 200g.

Their not scamming anybody.
Samsung hasn't tried branding this chip as something from a competitor.
They have made any claims of benchmarks which official specs dispute.
They've not made any false claims whatsoever.
No scam.
Just a childish remark with hated against a new SoC before its shipping. Conclude amongst yourselves.
