      New geekbench "runs" show the multicore score at 37xx. Which seems to be a big leap compared to the 1380. Am buying this phone, when it's released especially since I have issues with me A54 right now (ghost touch, repeated touches).

        I’ve been using the Samsung A54 for over 9 months. The battery served me well. I work outdoors mostly and the screen brightness is good enough. Usually 32% to 29% remaining at the end of day (9am to 10:30pm). I realise the battery drain faster if I keep WiFi button on. After few updates, poor battery performance with WiFi remains. Since I’m on a 75GB 5G plan, I just stopped using WiFi to extend the battery life. Samsung needs to do something about WiFi battery drain.

            verge , 03 Jan 2024I hope they create a separate variant of this device, the e... moreIt usually is the battery that's not that great with Exynos SoCs were I care about. Performance is good enough in mid and low range phones and there isn't a A55 with SD to compare.
            Highend phones is a different story though. If you pay for the best, you want the best. An S24 with Exynos is a dealbreaker for me.

The Snapdragon 750G in my A52 performs much worse than the Exynos 1380 in the A54. Exynos has its place in midrange phones if Samsung can improve the performance and efficiency of their chipsets a bit more

                I hope they create a separate variant of this device, the exynos and snapdragon.
                We know that snapdragon are very competive, good GPU when it comes to process the image even the camera last is snapdragon are good to performed a very long lasting battery.

Thanks Wifi 7 (only implemented in 2024, there's no way this SoC doesn't support WiFi 7) charger minimum 45 watt, The biggest companies Google, Apple, Sony all do not support chargers above 67 watts. The Asus rog series charger is only stuck at 65 watts, but never provides a 120 or 240 watt charger, which is the current smartphone trend. (If I remember correctly, Xiaomi is testing a 300 watt charger, now it's still not sold freely.

                              The A55 will cost around £450--£500 and for that you'll get the performance of a £250 phone. I have the A53 and the performance/cost ratio is truly pitiful.

(if the battery is 6,000 mah, the M series smartphone line. Example: M54 5G uses the same SOC as A54 5G/ Exynos 1380.
