                    Yes, you're comparing a 5nm chip to a 7nm chip. The 7nm chip is always going to be at a disadvantage performance /efficiency wise. But people who are buying the Mate 60 series are not going to be worried about that. They want a flagship Huawei phone with a Kirin chipset and they're willing to sacrifice some performance to get it. And that's because Huawei phones with Kirin chipsets have been the best phones people have ever used.

                      No matter what i miss the Kirin chip a lot, best battery optimization i ever got etc especially in my former Mate 8, 10, 20x and 20x 5g phones. Now i never know what surprises/problems i get with my Samsung Ultra models 😳

                        Ain't no way that the Maleoon 910 got beaten by my Mali-G77 MP9 which was released 4 yrs ago

And I never said it's for shareholders. If you buy a high end phone you get so many features you don't get with cheaper phones, like better cameras or displays or software. And those actually matter to wayy more people.

                              Again, if people really cared about performance that much no one would buy a pixel. But because the pixel is great in aspects ppl care about, it sells well.

                                    GPUs need much more optimization than CPUs so I think future updates & better drivers should put it on par with the OG Kirin 9000.
                                    Efficiency test would be the most interesting to be honest.
