This is Xcover 7, not Xcover 7 Pro, so 400 Eu for such phone is ridiculous. The right price would be 200-250 Eu.

230$ phone in reality, are they think we all dumb ?

LOL. It's hilarious reading the comments all complaining about price, spec, benchmark, etc. As if you guys would buy the thing anyway. Samsung Xcover series are targeted towards enterprise. Retail availability is almost non-existent (although you could order one). These things are usually offered in bulk as contract deals with enterprises. The prices are a steal for companies, considering Samsung's Knox support and proper security update length and frequency (compared to regular cheap retail Chinese phones). Even the lowly spec XCover5 is getting monthly security patches. This is the important part for companies, not the spec/benchmarks.

You guys talking about spec and price, go stick with your cheap Xiaomi/Infinix.

Anonymous, 23 Dec 2023Have you even tried Samsung's 4gb ram phones? It'... moreYou can turn off those ads on lock screen.
I can't rememember how to do that or else explained it.
Search online to turn off that.

To play games smoothly, buy mobile with higher ram above 8 gb or else expect lag as a gift on all phones if want to play trendy games.

Even a 2021 model would crash playing a light game the moment an ad shows up lol. And they also shamelessly enable lockscreen ads without warning. Which is bad since the budget ones now have Amoled screens too.

              >6.6-inch FHD+ display

Hugely disappointing if true. 6.6" with those bezels isn't a "big phone" anymore, it's a small tablet. People who want to watch movies all day buy a normal phone, people who need durable phone usually need it to make calls and do some basic web browsing on a phone that doesn't need to be carried in a separate bag.

400 smackers and all you get is a Dimensity 6100+ 😭

                  A rugged A14/A15 5g from Samsung.

pl2rts, 23 Dec 2023Based on it's specs it should be under 250 euro but ca... moreGood assessment, concludes my opinion pretty well. Many Dimensity SoCs now are just recycled from 2020/2021.

Anonymous, 23 Dec 20238 GB RAM should be minimum nowIf the CPU is trash then you can have even 128GB ram and it wont change a thing.
6GB is more then enough for D6100+ that is Antutu v10 around 410.000
If the performance be around 800.000 up then i would agree with you on 8GB as minimum.
For next 5 to 10 years we wont need more then 8GB ram anyways as market is still full of 3/4/6GB ram phones and all apps need to support these cause it's large market to be part of.

Based on it's specs it should be under 250 euro but cause it's rugged then under 300 euro should be somewhat ok price for it.
                          D6100+ is basically D800 ? Something Helio G96/99 ?
Ruggedness of the phone is same as take Galaxy A34 and get a bit thicker rubber case on it with corner pumpers.
While A34 is better in performance wise and under 300 euro too.

I would buy it if it retains the 3.5mm jack, removable battery and if it is at least 4500 mah.

single camera but if the camera wide enough like 24mm equivalent it should be ok. i hardly use ultrawide camera on my phone because the main camera feels like around 24mm, meanwhile my previous phone main camera is like 28mm equivalent, i had to use ultrawide cam much often.

the real problem here is 6gb ram. at least put 8gb ram at this price point

This company just riding on their brand name now. 😅

Ulefone Armor 23 Ultra better. WAY FASTER SoC (D8020), reverse charging, more RAM and a bunch of other goodies like satellite. It is 480 EUR so yea...

                                    It's 👍🏼 good

Those who complain that the Dimensity 6100+ in budget phone and now Samsung is using it in a phone which said will be supported for a long time because it is a rugged phone like GSMArena said lol
