Asus Zenfone 10 receives Android 14 update

does anyone knows of a site which keeps track of what phones are gonna get android updates when? That'd help me a lot in my buying decisions for example I've kept away from Xiaomi due to their horrendous update speed. I'm super happy with the update speed on my S22 Ultra, it was 4/10 imo in terms of smoothness at launch, now it's 7/10-ish. That's a significant improvement from updates alone.

        Does this look future proof to you?

          Any news on an A14 update for older models of Zenfone series? My ZF8 is still fast enough to run smoothly for another two years and I'd realy wish to receive Android upgrades after the current A13....

Maybe you should stop spreading misinformation. HyperOS rollout timeline has already been announced. Also, some previous gen phones like 12T have received A14 update.

                              just 1.3GB? it's tiny for a major Android update... but yes because it's stock Android.

You've been spoiled by Google and Samsung phones, most phones haven't received anything yet but you're complaining. Imo, if it's done by the end of the year then I'm happy.

                                  Good for Zenfone owners.
                                  I have 4 Samsung devices, and only one received the update to OneUI6/Android 14.
                                  Other devices from the various Chinese OEMs (BBK, Xiaomi, etc), none of them get Android 14 updates yet.

                                  Having said that, I don't feel it matters much nowadays. Android is a mature OS. Security patches are more important imo.
