Got my xiaomi 13 updated 3 days ago, tho.

frowningboat8, 29 Dec 2023Yes that's what im currently doing on miui 14, however... moreIt being removed would be a deal-breaker for me. I wouldn't be prepared to use the iOS style toggles.

The option is apparently still in the HyperOS versions of xiaomi.eu, but they may have manually added it back in.

Pumpino, 27 Dec 2023Isn't it still possible to switch to the classic style... moreYes that's what im currently doing on miui 14, however I've heard the option is gone in hyper os.

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2023The logo is like having virus installed on your phone with ... moreNah!, the HyperOS logo is a vortex full of additional bloatwares. Well, that's fine!, As long as the price of Xiaomi phones drops quite lower than expected!

Don't really understand why they must call their skin a new OS (like it wasn't Android), but hey... power to them.

S, 28 Dec 2023Android phones should just stay with basic android versions... moreThat’s the whole premise of Android OS. It’ll always be a heavily fragmented, overly convoluted, poorly updated mess.

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2023No any UI can beat One UI. Very enjoyable to use.I genuinely don't understand what people like about One UI so much. I have a Galaxy Tab and the UI is atrociously laggy (despite owning devices with similar chipsets in the past, and none of them being this slow). Not only that, there is so much Samsung bloatware it's not even funny. There are two app stores for some reason, and you have to update apps for both stores. And, from what I've read, Samsung scans every app you update which makes updating apps take ages. Supposedly there is a setting that turns scanning off, but from my experience, that does absolutely nothing.
I've used devices from multiple different brands, and to this day nothing comes close to stock Android.
