Hackbox, 05 Jan 2024that is what i said redmi became like samsung in 2018 and b... moreyet samsung galaxy a14 4g, a14 5g, a54, a34 is top 10 most selling phones in the world 2023, 2 mid range, 2 entry level. the rest of rank are 5 iphones and samsung galaxy s23u which flagship phones. and the year 2022 redmi got 2 phones on the rank, the rest is samsung and iphone again.
i dont know what point you want to make. but the data show samsung dominate mid range phone. i dont like samsung either but you must admit they sell most mid range phones because their availability is good. the same argument as xiaomi still has better availability than the rest of chinese brand, this different topic. no matter how good the camera is still cant beat flagship camera phone and you cant buy it if not available. you still miss my earlier comment points.

    eg;- Poco uses waste ov64b main cam sensor like samsung uses waste chipset in 2018. that is the different in both. but actually same agenda.

            Hackbox, 03 Jan 2024Now a days in india majority of people is wait for BBD sale... moreyou missed my point. xiaomi make forced them to make better phones . that why the mid range become more competitive nowadays. the brands you shout make better camera because they know they need sell different phones than xiaomi offered which camera department. that show how xiaomi influence other brands to make better mid range phones to be competitive in the market.
            india is not represented global market, you also need to consider different region and country sell different prices. for example vivo still sell crap phone like vivo v30 lite 480 euro for that crap. and in my country the most favorite mid range phone on this website samsung a54 is more expensive than poco f5.

              Poco series was made for the reason to have lighter MIUI so the phone have more performance as the Poco series is for performance as to get phones out to more people who want to play games and need performance but dont have the money to buy flagship phones to get performance.

              And if nobody is using the sensor(ov64b) that means they probably get it really really cheap so that they can have the poco phone price down to a point a lot of market can afford it.

              Do you like have a mental disorder or something that you look gaming phones for photography ?

Anyone seriously thinking Realme has better camera ... morei was liking poco and redmi in 2020. 2021 onward they are start to making over price without proper implementation. example is poco x3 pro(my friend was having global version, now dead), redmi note 10 pro(my bro having) that everyone know. Redmi note 11 pro story is entirely different, bad camera optimization and bad software experience. Now they start to put waste sensor(ov64b) for camera(which is almost all brands are rejected) with bad optimization. Xiaomis main agenda is make more money than giving better device. Realme, moto, vivo, iqoo, samsung etc making better device for every price bracket with max optimization and hardware. that is truth.

You want to make it like Indians buy Iphones with cash but the fact is most Indians buy Iphones through credit card instalments. You can make it sound like Indians are rushing to buy Iphones every day but statistics is not on your side. Average income of India mean only a small percentage of Indians can afford an Iphone.

From this we can understand that majority of people need camera centric phone + stable performance phone. They don't care about raw performance. They need phone for 2-3 years with good stable performance and stable camera. So cases some phone they atleast this things like poco x5 pro, moto edge 40 neo, moto edge 40, samsung f54, vivo t2 pro etc, but not that much like iphone but atleast.

                              I dont know people will go for Phone with 3 -4 years old 64Mp omnivision camera sensor phone for their photography purpose. Moto, Realme, vivo etc they are using better camera sensors in phone.

You are indirectly quoting the value for money which is absolutely opposite to your statement. Do you see how many old 5-6 redmi phones people sill use because of their enormous community support? That's because Xiaomi (or Oneplus/realme) gives hardware packed devices. Do you even remember the redmi note 3 days where the company did only make marginal profits from the device but sold in large numbers?

Vivo phones are mostly overpriced, like charging $500+ for V30 Lite with Snapdragon 695 overpriced. Iqoo is still good because its still new, wait a few years and Iqoo will increase their prices. Realme? You do know Realme was created by Oppo to follow Redmi’s footsteps.

Even... moreyet the brands you shout become competitive because xiaomi phones. bbk, transsion, moto, samsung etc forced to adapt their product because xiaomi offered cheaper price on some region market. without xiaomi they still sold crap middle ranges phones. company still need money to sustain, whether you like it or not xiaomi is changing middle ranges phones market for better, even samsung now produce better mid range phone compare few years ago because xiaomi.
