Anonymous, 02 Jan 2024why you are hating xiaomi so much? just dont buy it simple ... moreXiaomi brand is a money maker without any improvement. Even thow samsung or iPhone make money, their are give best thing in the world. But Xiaomi is not like that. Moto, vivo, iqoo, realme their are atleast good in their way giving best to people.

Superpower2030, 02 Jan 2024Get out and read the news.I know all about that it was few years ago with X3 Pro with SD860 that was really cheap too.
Also the motherboard issue was mostly only in India region and there for they even changed the CEO from there India region and we have not seen it again.

Same with Samsung we dont see there batteries explode anymore cause they fix it and it's already in the past. Now Xiaomi also deal with it and we have not seen the issues. We also see motherboard issues on Huawei, Sony, LG, Samsung and even Apple cause it's all mass production and there can be defected product in that
It happens to every brand. But to go around all over the news and reviews to say motherboard issue like that is a feature for the phone and brand that is not even more then 6 years old

I am currently using Redmi note 5 AI for 5 and half years. And I am satisfied with my camera. I am planning to upgrade to Poco F5. Can you please tell me Cameras on Poco F5 are better or at least to Redmi note 5 AI?

PureOS, 02 Jan 2024Yes. And even with some cheaper camera lenses, results are ... moreI have 8GB ram and 256GB storage version of Poco F5.
Reasons why i bought it was that it's performance was good and also that it got 3.5mm jack.
I was looking for X5 Pro at the time as i even liked the yellow black combo on it and it was 320 euro at the time so a lot cheaper then the Moto Edge 40 that dont have 3.5mm jack at the time probably was something 500 plus euro.

Also what i liked on F5 was that it dont have this annoying pyramid of camera islands where it's one pump then on top of the pump lenses pop out and have another pump.
I got me a Nilkin case that a bit levels the back of the phone so the cameras dont affect much and wont make the phone wobble on a table.

Also i prefer the finger print scanner to be on the side so the case wont have a large hole on the rear of the phone. I never use the scanner anyways. Under display be nice but then again phone is finger print magnet so not hard to find prints on the screen to then play around with tape to get the finger prints to then unlock the phone trough the screen reader.

For me safer is fallow the dots or password.

Also for camera what i want to say is that it is the most last thing i care about on a phone when i look for new phone to get. I was happy with dual 12mp for 5 years with my old phone as Redmi note 5 AI. So i would say that the F5 64mp is serious upgrade over that as it's still middle class range camera quality. I dont think i even made any pictures with my last phone that i saved any for 5 years so the camera on the phone is just a tool that i dont much care. Nice to have cause QR codes and so but it's just the last thing i care about a phone

PureOS, 02 Jan 2024Its not better. Poco X5 pro camera will be far better poco x6 pro. I am guaranteed. Only performance department this x6 pro will break poco x6 pro.

Hackbox, 02 Jan 2024Moto edge 40 is midrange phone. not flagship or flagship ki... moreMoto Edge 40 can be top end of the middle class performance to land around 800k in antutu but considering Google Pixel series that is also around same range with the series 7 that was still competition to edge series that is moto flagship series. Never mind that the moto is limited markets. I am from Baltics in Europe region and we have moto here. As of now edge 40 256GB is around 325 euro. But Edge 40 Pro is still 700 euro.

It's basically same like Samsung S class as there flagship series where you can get S23 for 700 euro. Ultra and + around 900-1200 euro.

While S23 is basic with compact size also but still is flagship. Same is with Moto as there flagship series and it starts with Edge 40

PureOS, 02 Jan 2024Its not better. It is better man. Moto edge 40 is become better compare to redmi or poco or realme. This is true. Their uses better camera sensor.

"The F5 shows a big improvement in overall quality. Maybe the new ISP inside the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 deserves some credit. Either way, the daylight samples below are really impressive. All of the photos we took offer a great level of fine detail, excellent sharpness and wide dynamic range. Colors are vibrant but not too over the top, except maybe for the green grass and foliage."

"The Poco F5 doesn't disappoint even after dusk. The main camera delivers impressive sharpness with fine detail in abundance. Dynamic range is more than adequate, and only high-contrast scenes seem to produce clipped highlights, whereas shadows retain quite a bit of detail."
