If we won't have a charger in the box, at least give us one with two charging slots. It's much better than having only a single slot.

ua82, 06 Jan 2024these companies have been doing fast charging for years now... moreHousefires caused by phone chargers are very common, they just always describe them as a "cheap brand" chargers. As I said, whether it's xiaomi, realme or some oppo, nobody really cares, because risk of fire simply comes included with these devices.

People (mostly Chinese brand fanboys however) act like Samsung could not make faster charger if they wanted. The problem is, if a 200W xiaomi or oppo charger explodes and burns down someone's house, nobody really cares, but if this happened with a Samsung charger, it would immediately make international news. It's the same with other reputable brands, you won't see Apple or Sony joining the charging speed race anytime soon, because they assume safety first.

TooMuchTimeOnMyHand, 06 Jan 2024I had a Samsung phone once, but would never look back since... moreI was gonna say that I never had an S8+, but yeah nothing you just wrote is true.
I overpayed for the Infinix Zero Ultra (Genesis Noir), that I bought almost, but less than a year ago (so nowhere near 2 years ago, and I never claimed that anyways), it cost me 810 usd converted, and I didn't buy it from Ali, in fact I never bought anything from AliExpress. I bought it in Hungary, so in my home country. Is that affordable? Sure, to me it was, but otherwise it truly isn't, especially not for a Dimensity 920 powered phone. I'm a collector who likes to play around with different phones from different brands, so price didn't matter to me, but it's not worth that much and it doesn't even cost that much in countries where it's officially sold. Obviously I wasn't actually using this phone in the past (almost) 1 year, but for about half of it, I was and it's battery health has remained even with it's 180W charging, so even if let's say in another half a year it ends up losing 2-3% of it's battery health, I'd say that's still nothing strange, and otherwise pretty good. I'll keep using this phone, as I like it most, so we'll see about that. As for new phones, I haven't purchased any in the past 3 months.
So back to the S8+, that I never had, what I had was an S8 and it didn't break (it did have WI-FI issues, but other than that it still works), and I still have it and use it for my morning alarms. I could never go back to Samsung, because I don't like the way they do pretty much anything, I don't like their designs, their packaging, them not giving anything in their boxes, their software, their slow charging, and their build quality. (Exception to latter, and only that is the S series.)
If you think that for some reason I'm making myself look bad, then let me be, but please don't fabricate nonsense lies about me. Thank you!

DarlingYext, 05 Jan 2024My Infinix charged up from 0-100% while I was reading this.I had a Samsung phone once, but would never look back since their S8+ died on me and it was under warranty which didn't cover the problem I was having. Since then I'm buying only affordable Chinese phones with 200W because I have a strange hobby to buy a new phone every month or so, so I need them to get charged as soon as possible. I have 25+ mobile phones at my house but I can tell you "maaaan".. these batteries lasted me a long time. My 2 years old Infinix I bought from AlliExpress still gets me through a whole day without charging. Heck sometimes even two days if I don't carry all of my 25+ phones with me.
Fun fact: All of my 25+ phones charged from 0-100% while I wrote this. Imagine that!
Anyways.. wish you a great and happy new year with many more phone purchases to come!
Cheers!

I bought a 45w GaN charger from mcdodo. it has dual type-c output and it can fast charge my s23 and galaxy watch5 all together. it is also small and cool due to GaN. I am happy with choosing a charging brick for my own needs. samsung should release it's own dual fast charging bricks to use with wearables, too.
to be honest, battery life of s23 is quite good so,fast charging is not necessary for me. my phone disables fast charging during night time to protect battery. I use super fast charging one a month or none.
