    Anonymous, 05 Jan 2024Omnivision OV50K will beat the Sony Lytia 900Unlikely, according to Digital Chat station the OV50k is kind of a trial run of Omnivision's lofic technology which is going to be more refined in the OV50N which will be Omnivision's top sensor. He's stating that the OV50N can probably outperform the LYT900 but probably not the OV50K. Honor will debut this OV50k soon though so we should get a good idea of its performance. Xiaomi changes the name to Light Hunter again as they don't want to say they are using Omnivision sensors but the sensors seem to be exactly the same

                                    There is something I have noticed amongst Chinese phones, be it low end or higher model, their default photo processing output are always YELLOWISH TINTED. Man I hate it so much, when it should be white balanced reflecting the scene nature, the only fewer phones I've used that actually satisfied me with good giving photo processing were all Samsung.

                                    The S9, Note 9, Note 20 ultra and probably Note 10+ was a bit giving.

                                    Right now Samsung is going same way from what I have seen so far, judging from the s22/23 ultra samples.

                                    Back then I thought it was just the Apple iphone thing until I saw it on Chinese devices, not much of a surprise, but I got shocked seeing it on Samsung's latest high ends.

                                      Promising specs on paper _according to photo-expertise

                                      Damn good looking samples, but there is no way I would purchase a device all by looking on samples like this.... They are just for marketing HYPE to me, same for every other company... don't trust any, so I'm ain't loyal to any😏
