Samsung brings new rugged Galaxy XCover7 smartphone and Tab Active5 tablet

Both devices have Android 14 out of the box.

If only they make a Tab A version of the Active5... the last time they did a compact tablet with stylus support was in 2019.

I actually wouldn't mind using a small 8" tablet like that, with physical keys as well. Specs don't seem that bad either, though I can probably guarantee the price is gonna be way too expensive.

Would be great if it's snapdragon 845-870

A 8" inch Tablet is way too compact to be called a tablet.

                6nm SOC = SD 695
                5nm SOC = Exynos 1380

That relatively small battery, and the No Battery Mode is why I think it would be unfair of me to judge it's spec sheet. It doesn't feel like a regular consumer product, and it most likely isn't.

Hello tab Active and Xcover 🫡

Interesting the Non Battery Mode. The phone could even be used as a laptop if it has DeX. Like it.

Can the tablet make phone calls? Because an 8" phone sounds pretty sweet
