I'm so looking forward to this review. My initial impression of this phone is that it can be a proper work horse for photographers and vloggers, just more affordable.

justasmile, 13 Jan 2024That's just a lie.Well its true, long software and especially security update is good, but a premature/early one is a dumb step, im a samsung user for a long term and still dont like their software/security update behavior, and dont tell me even a single thing about iphone because to be honest i dont like all of that.

Man i always wonder if someone overpraise and overdefend 1 or some brands, look at the devices, features, hardware full supported by software, being objective then pick 1 that you really need, not the one which famous by just "people tell that"

I used samsung device for long time just for some features that i need which doesnt exist in some brands and almost never seen ads(well specifictly in my country), and still wont overpraise/overdefend the brand itself, i still hate some of their devices and their marketing behaviors.

GSMArena should also review on how the UDC's transparent OLED behaves on different color. I noticed that when the status bar is not white or pitch black, the OLED on top of the front cam just turns green especially on brightness less than 20%. This is also very common on Redmagic phones aswell that also have UDC.

DarlingYext, 13 Jan 2024Yeah, but this one is clearly as flat as it gets..Yeah, no I wasn't referring to the Z60 Ultra. The only thing here justifiable for hate is the poor software support, which is exactly what he was hating on

Back in 2021, someone managed to impersonate my bank and called me. He said the bank detected some rare movements and asked for my digital key for "additional security". I hanged out and went to my bank office. They told me that someone managed to break into the system and obtain names and number accounts from their customers, and I was lucky because I didn't give them any additional info.
So, if they managed to hack the banks' expensive and secure mainframes and network hardware, i bet they could very well hack my phone if they would, no matter if it carries a security patch from today

I like the fact that people start talking about software updates. It's true that anything can be hacked but we don't have to kame it easier. It is also true that if you are not a target you have to worry less but this does not mean you are not a target. Ransom ware hit also regular people. Nowadays security updates is a necessity and because we reached a point that every year there are no big hardware upgrades, company should focus more in software support.
