      The android go system will also offer less customizations and other cool options compared to the android system.

        If the Android is Go edition, the Playstore is also Go edition, right? I suppose some important apps may not even be available.

                    pl2rts, 14 Jan 2024isn't it more like rebranded Helio P60 ?even p60 have better performance compared to those rebranded p35 bonanza. helio G3x series uses the same gpu as p35 and p22. which is powervr ge8320. while the p60 used mali g72 mp3. why no more manufacturers use p60 instead of garbage p35 rebrands and yet still produced by mediatek today?

                          If anyone ask me to recommend something then i ask what is there budget for a new phone and then talk about other things. Last time someone ask me to recommend something was up to 300 euro and then i recommended Redmi note 10 or 11 Pro. The same guy asked me again year later and wanted smaller phone so i then recommended to spend more and go with Iphone SE. A bit later one other friend ask me same and he was with Samsung S6 and wanted to get new phone so i also recommended something from Xiaomi and then later with S22 cause the phone size be same and as he is use to the OS skin there wont be much of a change for him on daily use.

                          Also for the part of microusb breaking is something very rare thing. It's as rare to see as with type-c. Never mind that there are microusb wires that look like type-c as you can plug in both ways just like type-c. I had that type wire for my Redmi note 5 AI for 5 years and the microusb port is not broken. I had only one time any issues with charging port and it was way back before the touchscreen phones with Nokia 6151 where part of the charging plug top plastic got stuck in the charger port and then was not possible to charge while i would think that back then there carger wire was not even microusb

                          You need to have Type-c in European market but not in India or Africa and these are the markets these phones are made for

                          There is like nothing to complain about charging port on a trash phone. I also had 90 euro phone from Leagoo over 6 years ago with type-c but that was only good thing about it.

Dont real... moreIt's not just an "old charging port", it's also one way more fragile than usb type-c is, that's it's biggest fault, not charging speeds. Aside from that, think what you want of my comment, as I said I wouldn't recommend this phone either, as it's not worth it, but neither are any phones with micro usb.

                                  what's the benefit sacrificing chipset for "high-res camera" when they put rebranded helio p35 from 2018?? for that, i'd rather have 13mp camera but with much powerful chipset than low midrange chip from 6 years ago.

                                      I wouldn't recommend this version of the Smart 8 to anyone either, but I also haven't seen a worse e-waste contendor than the entire Redmi A series, plus the 12C, micro usb was a joke 6 years ago, let alone last year and onwards.

                                        I dont get the point of this e-waste. Better buy something that is up to 2 years old budget to budget middle class phone with full android around something android version 12. At least the phone be more useful and even have better cameras on them. Something like Redmi 12C with G85 be better then this for the same or cheaper price and being better cause of the G85 as the rest of the specs seems to be same.

                                        Less e-waste in the market to get older better specs phone then get a new that is worse and more expensive
