Anonymous, 13 Jan 2024e-wasteExactly! Why even bother buying this new when you can buy a used LG G8, a FAR better phone (aside from being 1 Android version behind, but it's the full version of 12 at least) for a similar price (here in the US)!

I'm not an expert in the sub 90 smartphone world
But I'd say it's better you buy a ulefone, Cubot, black view ,umidigi at this price range

This is the first phone I‘ve seen this year without big A7 series cores. I thought those were finally done, but I also see that the price is rather low. Still, using something like G85 instead of G36 would offer a very significantly better experience.

God I thought we were done with the curse of full eight A53/55 cores in 2024. I wouldn't recommend that even to my worse enemy.

Higher-res camera is useless, when it's paired with a significantly weaker and all-around worse SoC.

The Unisoc can at least be paired with UFS2.2 storage, which is what the cheaper Smart 8 HD has, that costs around Rs. 6,299 INR, making this device pointless.
