Samsung isn't just interested in wifi 7 in lower models just as they weren't for any of S23 models even though SD gen2 had wifi7. That's why Exynos didn't include it. WiFi 7 isn't magic that exynos can't include it.

WiFi 7 is not needed.
BTW Exynos cellular modem is way faster than Snapdragon.

So Samsung basically took the Exynos 2200, updated the cores and added 2 dedicated cores to handle their new AI bloat.

Kaka , 18 Jan 2024I don't even care if performance is behind 8g2 or 8g3... morethere are different costs tailored to markets rather than based on processor....
The only reason you see Qualcomm always in USA/Canada/China is because these areas use some Qualcomm tech for 4G and 5G so for Samsung it's literally cheaper to use the snapdragon chipset for these markets vs the costs of using the patents and implement the tech in exynos for these markets. So for the foreseeable future even if we will have again years when Exynos is better (e.g. when snapdragon 810 was a natural disaster) you will still see this separation.

I don't even care if performance is behind 8g2 or 8g3...
But more importantly if it doesn't throttle, overheat and power efficient then it will be fine.
The problem is Samsung charge their price similar to sd variant even though their processor doesn't charge the same way as Qualcomm ask for their price.

more heat generated and two times the worst efficiency. yay🥳🥳 finally s24 has full potential to use as a clothing iron and portable stove..
i doubt even youtube and candy crush warms the chip in just two minutes. and they would bring 10000mah powerbank whenever going outside. just like iphones.

I don't know about this new Exynos . But if they had come with 3nm processor it will be better. They actually have 3nm chip manufacturing, so why can't they choose it over 4nm , so they will be able to beat snapdragon 8gen3 .
Now whether this Exynos will be able to beat snapdragon 8gen3 is a question to be answered.

I pay 11 euro/month for 1Gbps optical cable. Wifi 6 cannot give me more than 600/700Mbps download speed, because 5Ghz freq. is overpopulated. 6e/7 is must have for fast internet connections if you want to forget about LAN cables in your home

On the official Samsung website, they don't even show detailed specs anymore.
However, if you compare the S24 Ultra with the non-Ultra S24 phones using the 'Compare models' feature, under 'CPU Type' the S24 Ultra has 'Octa Core', while the non-Ultra S24 phones have 'Deca Core'.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 = Octa Core
Exynos 2400 = Deca Core
Hope that helps.
