Samsung have learned NOTHING from all the outrage concerning this strategy, if they charged $50-$100 less for the exynos version that would be one thing, but to charge full price for a demonstrably inferior product (in every way) is only going to continue pissing people off.

They did improved chiplet a lot, so a year gap was worth to wait. GPU matches A17 Pro and CPU also not slouch either, too bad S24 series in general is overpriced crap, they thought they will slap AI logo and everybody will buy their crap, well, they are wrong judging by lukewarm activity in commet sections 🤣

Why Samsung themselves don't want to use Exynos in their homeland?

Im not hating on samsung, but their Exynoss chip has heating issue.
so this series will be the easy skip for me

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2024I'll wait for tests. I'd imagine there will be vi... moreMay won't notice synthetic bencmarks in actual, but yes, the differences become stark if you were to heavy gaming or heavy use for half an hour, then you'll start to observe throttling (reduction in speed to maintain temperature and chipset health). Then you do notice as frames start dropping.

I think the last generation in which Exynos convincingly beat SD, was in Galaxy S7, and that's many many years ago. Or it could be the overheating SD888.

I'll wait for tests. I'd imagine there will be virtually no difference to the end user, but I might have to eat my words.

However as I said it in my other comment, I don't think Exynos is a problem, the chipset split is. Either go Exynos all the way on all 3 models in every country, or don't use Exynos at all.

So I posted the exact same comments in the sister article exynos 2400 cpu detailed 10 cores 3.2 ghz max frequency.

Weird Hell NO! One direct response that merits a mention starts We don't care about benchmarks?

So before I get onto posting additional information which is a 'NEGATIVE'
Samsung is taking a two-chipset approach for the Galaxy S24 and S24+ phones featuring different SoCs depending on the market. The divide is pretty straightforward this year with markets like South Korea, the US, and China getting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy S24 and S24+ devices while units in other markets will feature Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 chipset. The S24 Ultra on the other hand will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in all regions.
This is perfectly clear rumoured now confirmed by Samsung, question Samsung not me. You appear to have not understood & conflated 2 issues, Apple also splits not by region but by phone the Max current chip, others the year old chip.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has a slight advantage
Exynos 2400 DOES support WiFi 7 however it
only those sent to the USA were enabled.
Samsung to maintain uniformity has disabled WiFi 7 on all Exynos 2400

WiFi 7 is definitely released 2024 and has already been included in some Asian flagship e.g Magic 6 pro .Samsung 24 won't be able to access the 4.8x speed it has over WiFi, 6e just the Snapdragon gen 3

So Googling, IPhones don't support WiFi 7 and there appears to be a brouhaha developing regarding the Vision Pro $3.5K which also doesn't support WiFi 7 or even WiFi 6e

                        WiFi 7 router appears costly
I said wait however the Exynos 2400 WiFi 7 situation is a Samsung own goal it was just the WiFi 7

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2024Samsung should only have one chip for their phone and it sh... moreEither that or Snapdragon on all of them. This idiotic splitting of chipsets by regions is such a slap in the face of customers who happen to live in the "wrong" region and get inferior chipset for the same price others get the better one. Sigh.

I thought Samsung was over with this chipset splitting thing like they should just stick to one for Christ sake

The overall efficiency is pretty bad as is on Android without messing about with different SoCs.

If you remove buzz words like "AI" from the presentation there's literally nothing else worth mentioning.

Samsung should only have one chip for their phone and it should be their in-house chip Exynos.

But the good thing about all this is that Exynos would help potential consumers make an informed decision to avoid these new products. It will backfire eventually, and it's going to throttle.

im sure there will bet tonne of video complaining the exynos. Just wait and see..😆🤣 lets wait the backlash from buyer and also video to trade in back their purchased.

Samcung try want to gamble luck again this year .
