These phones exist from Doogee or brands like that but they don’t sell, and they don’t sell for good reasons

Stop repeating this bullsh*t, not everyone wants a dings and dents and scratches all over their phone. Even when the back was aluminum instead of glass, people still used cases because otherwise it would look like sh*t after 2 years.

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2024You do not care, samsung does. If phones used composite materials on the back instead of glass and those were several millimetres thick, phones could suddenly be 12mm thick and you wouldn't need a case because it would be just as durable as one, while having more space for the internals. People wouldn't feel the thickness either, because cases are 3-4mm thick unless you're going for extra slim ones that aren't meant to be that durable. The whole slimming down phones' thickness trend is really stupid.

But again, some years back imy Samsung S Ultra had a worn outbattery after only a year or something but i dont care taking care of the battery. Then i paid 35-45 euro in a shop for changing battery (in my country Denmark), so its not that expensive for a new battery in my opinion.

I wish they'd switched the 3× telephoto to also be 50MP periscopes for all three phones, had thinner bezels on the S24 and the S24 Ultra, switched to 19.5:9 for the Ultra rather than keeping 19.3:9 on the Ultra and then even changing the S24+ to be 19.3:9, and switched to a 50MP ultrawide that had autofocus on all three models, with a 1/2.0"-type sensor on the Ultra. Hell, even change the selfie to be a larger 1/2.8"-type 50MP. The main sensor's focal length should also be 26mm, the 3× telephoto should be 78mm, and the 5× telephoto should be 130mm and f/2.8. If that means that the S24 Ultra isn't any thinner, then so be it. Phones could suddenly be 10mm thick overnight and I wouldn't care, but I would definitely care that there is now more space inside for better cameras and a bigger battery.
