No innovation at all just new CPU and GPU useless AI gimmick and low cost phones looks exactly as high end phones.
Yes no phone came close because others innovate far more than samsung.
No other manufacturer went this deep to become obbsolette as Samsung you are right here.

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2024Better than the crappy 5/8MP ultrawides?yes, the snap on ultrawide is better than then crappy 5/8mp ultrawide.
typically you cannot get good night mode ultrawide due to lack of OIS.
but this Custom Snap On Lens allow it to ride on the Excellent 12mp f/1.7 large lens 1/2.5"" PDAF OIS

Moment still makes some high-end clip-on lenses for phones.
Not sure if it's worth the extra cash, but the idea hasn't died out.

I have the rugged gadget case on my S23 Ultra and love the removable stand. I just wish the card holder would hold more than two cards.
Hopefully Samsung continues to develop the gadget cases.

justasmile, 21 Jan 2024They named it quad telephoto because the loss of quality be... moreI acknowledge your point of view that the quality is good, however, Samsung claiming its 2x and 5x camera to be 'quad tele system' is still technically false and misleading at the same time.
I mean back in the day when Nokia had Lumia 1020, which had similar 'lossless' zoom, they never claimed it to be a 'dual' or 'triple' or 'quad' camera system.
It's pure physics. You don't have physical hardware for the claimed lenses.
This marketing jargon also misleads consumer by shifting their focus away from physical camer hardware. Phones have gotten impressive due to advancement in image processing, however, image processing has its limit and can do only so much.
Physical camera hardware is not something Samsung is leading. Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, etc, all are employing cutting edge hardware like 1 inch type senssor, ultrawide OIS, variable tele system, etc, while Samsung is itirative for the past few years.
Peace-

The idea was superb, but the add on kenses should have been the size of the 'DJI Pocket 2's 15mm Wide-Angle Lens'. Anything larger looks too intrusive and bulky.

I had the Galaxy Note 7 Casing and Lens for the NoteFE.
The ultra wide angle and Zooms Lens works very well.
better than lower grade stock ultra wide angle and zoom lens
due to it's snap on the original Excellent 12mp f/1.7 1/2.55", 1.4µm, dual pixel PDAF, OIS
which there are literally no ultrawide/zoom lens that get this good base lens to start with.

Honestly I'm a big fan of these sort of accessories and I am glad Samsung released the gadget case series. Even better that they have one with a shutter button attachment. Wish they would catch on more as I don't want this series to end.

My ass to Samsung regarding ' quad tele system'. As you know the S24 Ultra has only 3x and 5x optics. If you go by this analogy then any phone can have infinite tele system.
I really hate this kind of marketing jargon.
