Flashback: the weird add-ons that boosted the Samsung Galaxy S cameras

Back in the day phones had only one camera - but what if you could attach an ultra wide or a telephoto lens to them?

Add-on lenses on an existing fixed lens camera don't make any sense it always give poor performance and it's bulkier. Instead proper interchangeable lens system would make lot of sense. 1" sensor with zero flange focal distance could open up endless possibilities. 9-45mm f2.8 zoom lens could be perfect alternative of sony rx100 or canon g5x and primes like 9, 13, 18.5mm f1.4 will compete with ricoh gr. All lenses must have variable aperture and OIS.

Until now, even the gripper is still largely useful for many phones.
