As if it wasn't enough that most people under the age of 40 are not already massively mentally damaged by the addictive use of anti-social media platforms and games that are bursting with violence (just one keyword among many other symptoms, ADHD), they should now also put the mental diarrhoea that is being produced an inch from their eyes and force it directly into their brains at high pressure.
It's no wonder that society around the world is now accelerating into the abyss.

Repeating the same misleading statement ad nauseam won't make it a reality.

No professional worth their salt is going to use this device for the same purpose as what a high end screen is used for. You want to know why? The screen on the Vision Pro is absolutely trash when Compared to a professional designer/grading monitor of any brand.

The Only reason why a dev/designer will purchase this thing is for creating apps/programs/content specifically for this. And that too for a locked down OS with specific "Vision Pro" apps...yeah all developers/artists/creators are gonna JUMP on that ship like their life depended on it :D

This is a flat out MomNPop-&-for-the-kids device which has been priced at any absurdly high rate to give the illusion of that premium brand smell. At least Apple financing plans will have a field day with the marks who will put this down on their over-leveraged credit cards.

However, for someone who is looking to buy the $6000 Pro Display XDR, this $3500 Vision Pro becomes a much better deal. Not only you get a "larger" display, it is portable and can be its own computer as well.

Sticking huge goggles on your head just so you do not have to deal with the "inconvenience" of a phone just sounds way too stupid to me.

This is the future - like it or not, unless you're an "I want to live off the grid" type. So, the prices will come down and the features will increase, and all the people immersed in their phones (you know, you see them every day) will migrate to this type of experience. They can communicate, work, be entertained and almost anything you can imagine, without having to deal with the "inconvenience" of a phone. Before you know it, this functionality will be in regular glasses, and contact lenses.
