Good for the Exynos chip and the team working on it. I personally don’t understand all the fuzz and hate towards Exynos. I’m using Exynos powered phone since 2017 as daily driver because both the Note8 and S22 Ultra were released with these chips in Europe. I never experienced any of the complaints people called about. For me the chipset isn’t that important at all, other things are more important to me but that’s my humble opinion.

Very nice to see these results. Gaming is representive and important. We would also like to see further tests, especially with video/photo recording.

But the price is about 1000€, ehhhhh...

That's impressive, I've been playing War Thunder since Beta on my phone and can only manage the medium setting of 30fps, sometimes it drops. War Thunder is a PC game with almost PC graphics and being able to run it with Ray tracing is impressive.

It's expected thanks to AMD. But when it comes to efficiency and battery life, Snapdragon is miles ahead.

              What about the battery life?

An important point missed there is the amount of battery drain on both phones after similar gaming session
Snapdragon might be more efficient, but IDK. Efficiency is just as important

They wish. Real gamers don't accept gpu lags! Why not use real sources, instead of sponsored? Oh right.

The reason why Samsung didn't put the Exynos in the Ultra is because people put hate towards Exynos even though the improvements over the previous generations have been massive, so people would not buy it even if it kept up.

Exynos isn't a terrible chipset. It's just that we have ignorant users believing you 'need a fan' to cool it down.

This issue can at least help us consumers because when the competition market between processors reaches an equal level, they will be forced to lower their prices to have a sales market, and this will be good news for us.

Maybe COD Mobile is not optimised for the Exynos 2400, so once it is it will keep up.

haha poor tensor g3 missed out on the 4nm LPP+ process, samsung screwed them

My problem with exynos wasn't the fact that it was slower than snapdragon, it was a few other things actually. Firstly, exynos variants have always been less efficient, getting warmer or chugging more battery for less performance. Nowadays though, I truly don't care about heat because all phones have heating and throttling and implode basically without fans, so that isn't a big concern anymore. Battery however is imo the most important aspect of a phone so if Samsung can't make performance champs, they should try to at least go for higher battery, it's sad when they can't do either. The SD 8 Gen 1 was horrendous and that's when the Exynos was close to the SD counterpart or even better sometimes in terms of battery, SD 8+ Gen 1 onwards Qualcomm has done a decent job. Anyways, I care more about how the battery is affected than how the performance is affected, any phone that can reach and hold SD 8+ Gen 1 power is more than enough for nearly anyone. Phones just don't use that much power because they throttle in the end and games aren't THAT demanding for the SoC, it's demanding for the SoC with the thermal constraints. Nubia's redmagic series clearly demonstrated how the SoCs have been cloes to flawless since the 8+ Gen 1 days with active cooling.

Secondly, they are slower yes but the Exynos variant and the SD variant cost the same, that's a problem, even if the speed is agreeable, the ISP change just made a huge difference to the video and photo quality. Samsung's tactic should be to give ONLY exynos or ONLY qualcomm and give consistency, why should some regions get good parts and others don't? The fact that Samsung went all SD last year and has reserved SD globally for the S24 Ultra just shows that even they don't feel confident in Exynos. Additionally, why do South Koreans get SD instead of Exynos, shouldn't they be getting stuff made in their own country? Makes you wonder.

Finally, my biggest problem with Exynos was app support. SD is widely available and app developers are lazy so they just make something for SD and call it a day. I used to just feel cheated before, even though my phone had more power than other SD phones I couldn't toggle stuff or install some APKs (sideloading) without them crashing. In order to keep Exynos relevant Samsung should work with devs and optimise for their phones appropriately, whilst providing faster updates to Exynos to lessen the blow. Forgive me if im wrong but iirc I heard that snapdragon variants used to get faster updates. That sucked.

Exynos finally beating the fraud allegations???

GSMArena users on their way to deny that the Exynos 2400 is actually fast
