Yeah, no. Not even on the level of Mediatek's.

And the benchmarked Exynos was inside a s24, so when it will be benchmarked again then there won't be that much gap then.s

The point is _how far do the Samsung fab Soc maintains thermal issues compared to the Sd8 Gen3
And then how far did it holds when it comes to battery life management.... These are important factors, even to the average consumer who won't mind the benchmark flexs and again we know the exynos is a runner up here, no matter the magic performed by the engineers

.. Theeese we need! 🤷‍♂️ Theories with handy Proofs!

LOL, 20 Jan 2024Is Xclipse GPU the collaboration between Samsung and AMD?Yes. Xclipse in general seems to beat Qualcomm in ray-tracing performance.

I imagine that Google will use that soc for the tensor g4 since it will continue until 2025 with Samsung

Fanboydestroyer, 20 Jan 2024true. the issue is samsung fabs and their inefficient processes. That has massively improved, sure, not at the level of snapdragons yet, but that's progress.

I thought the problem with Exynos is the efficiency, not necessarily the performance.

If they closed the gap in efficiency and heat output with TSMC fab process then we're talking.

battery life ? not like they charging any less for it ??

Need to compare not just by the processor but by the price of the phone as a whole. All well and good that the gen3 and the exynos trade in benchmarks but if I got a cheaper gen 3 phone, would it still hold up against the exynos? More options on the snapdragon, but a fair test would be s24 ultra vs s24 ultra with each chipset.

Also I'd like to see the difference in battery life between the two while gaming. Just as important imo, no point having a faster phone if it you can only use it for half the time.
